Treacherous Tower involves Link fighting his way through numerous floors filled with a variety of enemies via three difficulty levels, while Octoball Derby sees Link step up to bat in a baseball-inspired minigame situated in Lorule where rupees are earned by smashing pots and knocking over enemies littering the field.

Devil Survivor 2: Break Record has been delayed in Japan, Atlus announced today. It’ll now ship sometime next year as opposed to fall 2013. Atlus said it hopes to improve Break Record’s quality with the extra development time.

Nintendo has put up the entire transcript for its latest financial results briefing held in Japan a few hours ago. You can find it here.

We’ve already covered the presentation extensively in summary form. If you’re interested in an overview, check out this post.

Along with today’s screenshot, Sakurai passed along the following message on Miiverse:

“The trial version of Wii Fit U is available now! We’d like to share this pic to commemorate the occasion.”

Two Tribes will be releasing some of its classic games on the Wii U eShop starting with Toki Tori, which the studio hopes will be ready for launch next week. EDGE and RUSH are two other classic titles Two Tribes will publish before year’s end.

In the case of EDGE, it seems as though a 3DS version is also in the cards. This is something that Two Tribes hinted at previously, but never officially announced. But based on a discovery of ours, it’s now all but confirmed.

A rating for a 3DS version of EDGE recently popped up on the USK. After following up with Two Tribes, we were given a simple response: “More news on this soon!” I’d expect an official announcement in the near future.

If you’ve already used Wii Fit or Wii Fit Plus, you’ll be able to bring data from either game over to Wii Fit U. Now, how do you go about that? An update to Wii Fit U’s official Japanese website recently shared a summary of steps, which we’ve translated below:

  1. Copy the save data from the Wii Data Management section onto an SD card (card must have at least 512MB of space)
  2. Move the SD card to the Wii U
  3. Put the Wii Fit/Wii Fit Plus disc into the Wii U
  4. Go into Wii mode on Wii U
  5. Copy the save data to Wii U within Wii mode
  6. Data can then be extracted from the Wii once you get Wii Fit U

Should be easy enough!

Bravely Default: For the Sequel will feature bosses from Square Enix’s older DS RPG, Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light.

According to the latest issue of Jump, Lucifer and Beelzebub are included as mega bosses. Players will need to touch a black dragon icon which appears on the lower mini-map screen in order to fight each.

As far as actually gaining access to Lucifer and Beelzebub, other players will need to pass them to you via Wi-Fi communications before the demons invade your realm. Some of the finer details are a bit unclear at present, but we should get a better idea of things by the time Bravely Default: For the Sequel launches.
