Two new Pokemon titles were announced today. Along with Pokemon Quest, Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! are slated for this year.

As for 2019, The Pokemon Company has confirmed preliminary plans. Fans can look forward to “an all-new core series Pokemon RPG title” planned for the second half of 2019.

Original: Rumors about a possible reveal of the first true Pokemon game for Switch have been swirling for a couple of weeks. Speculation pointed to an announcement this month. With just a couple of days remaining in May, the much anticipated news was finally delivered.

During a press conference in Tokyo, Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! were announced for Switch. Both had been rumored previously.

The Pokemon Company has announced that a press conference is about to begin in Japan. News may land as early as 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET / 2 AM in the UK / 3 AM in Europe.

The conference is being held in Tokyo, Japan. There is no live stream as far as we’re aware.

Mega Man 11 amiibo Edition

Capcom will release Mega Man 11 amiibo Edition in North America, the company has announced. It includes the game, the new amiibo, a “Stage Select” microfiber cloth, Dr. Wily logo adhesive patch, and a set of stickers.

Mega Man 11 amiibo Edition will be available when the game launches on October 2. Based on an in-store listing, it will be a GameStop exclusive.

After Mega Man 11 was unveiled at the end of 2017, Capcom finally provided an update today. The game is now confirmed to be launching on October 2.

Interestingly, Capcom won’t be charging full price for Mega Man 11. Amazon’s listing shows that the game will cost just $29.99. Pre-orders are live here.

If you’re going for the Mega Man 11 amiibo Edition, you’ll need to fork over $49.99. However, it includes a number of extra goodies. Capcom is packing in the game, the new amiibo, a “Stage Select” microfiber cloth, Dr. Wily logo adhesive patch, and a set of stickers.

A new Mega Man amiibo is on the way, Capcom has revealed. It will be sold standalone as well as with the Mega Man 11 Collector’s Package in Japan. Aside from the amiibo, a guide book and poster will be included.

Mega Man 11

Mega Man 11 is releasing on October 3, Capcom announced today. Rumors about the release date first emerged last week following a new listing on the PlayStation Store in Singapore.

Capcom has also confirmed the new Double Gear system. This feature “adds a unique new twist on the satisfying platforming action, offering options to enhance Mega Man’s speed and power on the fly.”
