ZombiU’s servers working again after a lengthy hiatus
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 4 Comments
ZombiU doesn’t have online play, but there are elements in the game that make use of the Internet. There are a few small things that make the experience a bit more enjoyable for the player. Those elements include a leaderboard, ability to tag walls, and more.
For whatever reason, ZombiU’s servers simply stopped responding about 4-5 months ago. However, that’s since changed. Users have started to notice that ZombiU’s servers are alive and kicking once more. For the time being, we’re not quite sure why, but perhaps the new version of the game led Ubisoft to implement a fix.

Ubisoft’s 3DS game based on The Smurfs is now available. The game can be purchased for $29.99.
For those that need a refresher, here’s an overview:
“The Smurfs are in trouble and need help. After a walk in the woods, the Smurfs return to find their village completely destroyed and must discover the culprit responsible and rebuild their home.
Players will meet some of the most famous Smurfs, including Papa Smurf and Smurfette, and visit iconic locations, such as Gargamel’s Laboratory and the deep forest surrounding the village. Players will progress through an original story as they play a variety of 12 exciting mini-games, such as challenging the Smurfs to play hide-and-seek in the forest, creating new alchemy recipes by choosing the right ingredients and sneaking into Gargamel’s lab while he’s asleep while avoiding being caught by his cat, Azrael. Along the way, players will collect resources such as wood, rocks and bricks to create and customize the Smurfs’ village. The game empowers players to create the best village ever seen and make Papa Smurf proud.
Developed by Magic Pockets, all of the game’s mini-games are tailored for Nintendo 3DS. Taking full advantage of its features, players will play hide-and-seek using the Nintendo 3DS Stylus, pilot a plane through the woodland, organize music contests and create their very own recipes by tilting the Nintendo 3DS to mix ingredients and blow into the microphone to cool their preparations.”

Gravity Falls: Legend of the Gnome Gemulets dated for October 20, new screenshots
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News, Screenshots | 3 Comments
Gravity Falls: Legend of the Gnome Gemulets will launch on October 20, Ubisoft and Disney Interactive announced today. Pricing is set at $29.99.
Here’s a helpful overview of the title:
Gravity Falls: Legend of the Gnome Gemulets is adapted from Disney XD’s #1 series, “Gravity Falls.” In collaboration with the show’s creator and executive producer Alex Hirsch, a brand new and original adventure was created for the game and places players in a mysterious adventure to help Jeff the Gnome retrieve the ancient Gnome Gemulets and restore magic to the Gnome forest.
Players will play as both Dipper and Mabel Pines in dual character gameplay switching between characters at any time to use their unique powers and abilities given through the power of Gnome magic. Dipper is bestowed with Gnome Battle Cuffs which deliver powerful punches at close range, and keeps his trusty flashlight by his side to shed light on the many mysteries in Gravity Falls. Mabel wields the Fleece of Bezazzlementthat lets her whip her sweater sleeves to attack monsters from afar, and her grappling hook is at the ready to help access areas otherwise out of reach. Dipper and Mabel will complement one another as they will unravel a mystery to learn more about the inhabitants of Gravity Falls and unlock secrets of the town’s past.
Gravity Falls: Legend of the Gnome Gemulets is powered by the UbiArt Framework game engine and allows players to experience lush backgrounds and beautiful graphics. Players will explore favorite places from the show, such as the Mystery Shack and the Gnome Forest like never before.
