Ubisoft is celebrating the new Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch versions of The Rogue Prince of Persia with a launch trailer. The 2D action platforming roguelite has landed on both systems today.

A new Pikmin 4 has just gone live with version 1.1.1.

While there isn’t any new content here, it’s a fairly notable update. A bunch of different fixes are included in the patch. Additionally, an explanation will now appear in screen while in “Photo Mode” when using the Field Camera regarding using the camera.

August 25: As part of Nintendo’s new “My Mario” campaign, a series of stop motion videos for the well-known character have now been released.

As of now three videos have been published. Each one is about a minute long, focusing on a different scenario. Nintendo previously said that the short length was decided “so that young children can enjoy them.”

Groudon and Kyogre are both available as part of the story in Pokemon Legends: Z-A’s Mega Dimension DLC. Square Enix is gearing up for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and to celebrate, the company has shared a special video with us featuring Yoshinori Kitase. In it, he goes over his top Nintendo Switch 2 / Switch games, which are Ring Fit Adventure, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake.

Kitase acted as a producer on both Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. He is expected to be involved with the concluding third title as well.

October 23: Idea Factory is bringing Ariana and the Elder Codex to Nintendo Switch in the west with a full English localization, the publisher just announced. A release is scheduled for 2026.

Ariana and the Elder Codex was originally made by Compile Heart and Hyde. In Japan, it came out in August as Magical Librarian Ariana: The Books of the Seven Heroes.

Today, the new Nitrome Classics series was announced, and it’s kicking off with Twin Shot Deluxe. The game launches in early 2026.

Nitrome Classics features older games that have been “lovingly ported from the ground up”. These titles offer higher frame rates, full screen aspect ratios, and with higher quality music, and many of the games “will be packaged as mini collections within a franchise and include additional content not found in the original release.” Silly Sausage and Skywire will be arriving at a later date.

Here’s some information about Twin Shot Deluxe:

Capcom just announced the release date for Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection. The package is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 27, 2026.

Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection was originally unveiled during a Nintendo Direct earlier this year. Up until now, Capcom was only committing to a general 2025 launch window.
