Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania Kazuma Kiryu

Kazuma Kiryu from the Yakuza series will be playable in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania, SEGA has announced. He joins Beat from Jet Set Radio and Sonic and Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog.

When Touken Ranbu Musou was announced last week, Mikazuki Munechika was revealed as captain of the first unit. It’s now been confirmed that Kasen Kanesada will be featured in the game as the captain of the second unit.

Touken Ranbu Musou will include fifteen playable characters spread across across five units.

Touken Ranbu Musou is in development for Switch, but a release window has not been shared at this time.

Aeon Must Die! was announced for Switch and other platforms last year. Some controversy followed, with former developers that worked on the project claiming that they experienced crunch, lack of payments, and more. It’s unclear what has happened behind the scenes over the last twelve months, but we do know that the project is moving forward.

Focus Home Interactive reintroduced the beat ’em up game today. Aside from sharing a new trailer, the company is committed to a 2021 launch window.

Active Life: Outdoor Challenge – known as Family Trainer in other parts of the world – was a fitness game first released on Wii. Bandai Namco is now bringing it back with a new Switch version. It’s actually been out in Japan for several months now, but will finally head west in September.

For those in the United States, it appears that Active Life: Outdoor Challenge will be a retailer exclusive. Target added a listing to its website recently, and it makes it pretty clear that other stores won’t be selling it.

Switch will be receiving Swords & Souls: Neverseen this week thanks to Armor Games Studios and SoulGame Studio. Take a look at some footage in the video below.

Grisaia: Phantom Trigger 06

Grisaia: Phantom Trigger 06 was announced for Switch earlier this year. At the time, Prototype shared a vague summer release window for the game. The company has now followed up today by confirming plans to have it ready in September.

Like all of the other entries in the series, Grisaia: Phantom Trigger 06 should be released in Japan and the west at the same time. English, Japanese, and Chinese language options will be supported.

Bitten Toast Games will release its simulation RPG Garden Paws on Switch next week, according to an eShop listing. We’ll be seeing it on August 26.

Life is Strange: True Colors appears to be the next Switch game with a physical release that has a download requirement. The game’s boxart has started to show up on retailer websites, and the typical notice we’re all familiar with is included.
