Animal Crossing: New Horizons

A bunch of critters just left Animal Crossing: New Horizons as October ended, but a new set of bugs, fish, and underwater creatures have taken their place. There are plenty of new things to catch in both hemispheres this month.

Splatoon 2 originally held its Trick vs. Treat Splatfest in 2018. Two years later, once again in celebration of Halloween, the same event was held this weekend.

No More Heroes

No More Heroes 1 and 2 finally made their long-awaited return on Switch this week. Both Wii games were announced and released as part of the latest Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase.

Engine Software has confirmed that it was responsible for the new Switch versions of No More Heroes 1 and 2. The developer has worked on several other Switch projects and ports including Ni no Kuni, Little Nightmares, and The Legend of Heroes.

Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has updated its upcoming maintenance schedule. Aside from a session involving Switch Online this week, another period has been added for the Switch eShop later in the month.

Fire Emblem Heroes

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have announced a new 4.11.0 update for Fire Emblem Heroes. It will release around November 5.

The new update includes chapter 13 and the end of Book IV, new weapon skills and weapons to refine, updates for Aether Raids and Mjölnir’s Strike, and more. We have all of the relevant details below.

Colossus Down

Mango Protocol has announced that Colossus Down, the third entry in the Psychotic Adventures saga, is heading to Switch. The title will be available “very soon”.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is almost here, and My Nintendo is celebrating with a pair of new rewards. Members can spend their points on a wallpaper and November calendar.

Both of these rewards are up on My Nintendo here. They cost 50 Platinum Points each.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is due out for Switch on November 20.
