Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield will have level scaling for its DLC expansions The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have confirmed.

IGN received the news straight from Nintendo product marketing specialist Demetrius Boggs. During a preview of The Isle of Armor, the site saw that the first trainer battles were around level 60, which was the same as the highest level Pokemon in the trainer’s party. That means new players as well as those that have played extensively can both enjoy the experience.

Super Nintendo World

If not for the coronavirus, Super Nintendo World would be just about ready to open. The original plan was to have the theme park debut alongside the 2020 Summer Olympics in Japan. But because of the pandemic, everything is up in the air. This year’s Olympics have been rescheduled for 2021 while we haven’t heard much regarding the status of Super Nintendo World.

It went under the radar at the game, but we did actually receive a slight update a couple of months ago. Comcast, the parent company of Universal, noted in an investor call that Super Nintendo World “is expected to open later this year”.

Senior executive VP and CFO Mike Cavanagh said during the call:

Blue Fire, Graffiti Games and Robi Studios’ upcoming action-adventure game Blue Fire, is seeing a significant delay. The two companies have announced that the title will now launch in Q1 2021. Originally, it was scheduled for this summer.

Graffiti Games and Robi Studios have attributed the delay to “industry-wide changes due to COVID-19, which have led to some logistical delays in the game’s release.”

Aside from shifting the release window for Blue Fire, a new gameplay video was shared today. Get a look at it below.
