Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town coming west in July

Marvelous today announced that Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, a remake of the Game Boy Advance classic, is releasing in Europe and Australia on July 10. The North American release is expected around the same time – we should be hearing something from XSEED soon.
Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town will support English, French, German, and Spanish text localization. The game will be sold both physically and digitally.

Trials of Mana demo announced

Square Enix has officially announced that a demo for Trials of Mana is on the way. You’ll be able to play it very soon, as it’s due out on March 18.
The demo will let players experience the beginning of the game, including the Fullmetal Hugger boss fight. You’ll be able to get your hands on the six playable characters as well. Progress can be transferred to the full version.
If you’re looking for the full game, Trials of Mana launches on April 24. We have a bunch of footage below.

Fire Emblem Heroes announces Familial Festivities summoning event

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems are gearing up for the next Fire Emblem Heroes summoning event. Familial Festivities will feature Est, Fir, Narcian, and Idunn as a duo. A new Paralogue Story is also planned.

Nintendo NY closes due to coronavirus “for the foreseeable future”, effective immediately

Just a couple of days ago, Nintendo NY announced new store procedures in light of the coronavirus. The store was taking precautions by limiting the amount of people allowed inside at once, its available hours, and more. But as we’ve seen with the coronavirus, things can change very quickly.
Nintendo NY has now announced that the store is closing “for the foreseeable future”. This will go into action immediately, with no re-opening date currently confirmed.

Lust for Darkness returning on the Switch eShop with “Dawn Edition”, controversial content reworked

The psychological horror game Lust for Darkness appeared on the Switch eShop last July. It didn’t stay there for too long, as controversial elements resulted in a post-release Adults Only rating from the ESRB. In the end, the game was pulled.
Many months later, Lust for Darkness is returning on Switch as “Dawn Edition”. SimFabric has gone back to the drawing board by “tweaking a controversial content and reworking the most contentious assets”.
