Nintendo says it won’t release a new Switch model in 2020

Nintendo will not be releasing any new hardware this year. That’s according to Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa, who shared the news during a financial results briefing just moments ago.
Switch Lite released last September. But rumors have persisted that another Switch model could be on the way, which would potentially provide some sort of boost in power. Furukawa’s comments suggest that we won’t be seeing that until 2021 at the earliest – if at all.
