Samurai Shodown getting special collector’s edition

Pix’n Love, SNK, and Deep Silver are teaming up to offer a special collector’s edition for Samurai Shodown. Known as the “Shockbox Gold Edition”, it includes physical versions of Samurai Shodown and Samurai Shodown! 2 – Pocket Fighting Series for Switch, along with a 134-page art book with numerous illustrations and design documents. 2,500 copies will be produced.
You’ll be able to pre-order a copy here on December 18 at 5 PM CET. Shipment is expected in Q1 2020.

Super Nintendo World park crew bus shows up at Universal Studios Japan

The leadup to Super Nintendo World’s opening at Universal Studios Japan continues. Today, LUCASTUDIOS_USJ shared a few photos of a park crew bus from the theme park.
Super Mario characters are on one side of the bus, and we also have some heavy Mario Kart imagery on the other side. The whole vehicle is decked out in red and blue colors.

Fire Emblem Heroes will host Tempest Trials+: For a Smile starting December 17, Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have announced. The 5-star Hero Jaffar: Angel of Night and the three Sacred Seals Warding Blow 1, Steady Posture 1, and Distant Guard 1 can be obtained as rewards.
Ahead of the Tempest Trials+ event, a new summoning event has begun. Three Heroes from among the bonus allies are available as part of a 5-star summoning focus.
Reggie thinks game streaming will take off over the next decade

What will be a big aspect of gaming in the future? If you were to ask former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime, it would be streaming.
Reggie told Hollywood Reporter that streaming could take off over the next decade. Players will be able to experience any game on any device thanks to advances with the cloud and increase in download speeds.

The latest issue of Weekly Jump had a lot of gaming news for anime and manga fans. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto was announced for Switch, Fat Gum, Mr. Compress, and Twice were revealed for My Hero One’s Justice 2, and Kaido and Big Mom were confirmed for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4.
