Yampe Pokemon Build-A-Bear

Yamper, the Electric-type Pokemon originally introduced in Generation 8, is now getting its own Build-A-Bear plushie.

The creature is known as a herding dog in the Galar region. It’s able to make electricity from the base of its tail.

X-Out Resurfaced release date physical

ININ Games shared more information about its new version of X-Out: Resurfaced, including a release date and physical edition.

The game launches digitally for Nintendo Switch on February 20, 2025. A physical special edition will be offered through ININ Games’ online store. It comes with the game, original soundtrack CD, and a history art book featuring interviews with the original Rainbow Arts developers and helpful in-depth tips about the ships and weapons for new X-Out cadets.

Kamibako Mythology of Cube release date

Thanks to Gravity Game Arise, we now have a release date for Kamibako: Mythology of Cube in the west. It’ll come to North America and Europe on Nintendo Switch on January 30, 2025.

Kamibako: Mythology of Cube has been in Japan since August. Now fans in other regions will be able to experience the game, which features a mix of map-crafting, puzzle, battle, and RPG elements. 

Phantom Breaker Battle Grounds Ultimate delayed

The release date for Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate has been pushed back – though thankfully it’s not a massive delay. We’ll now be seeing it on April 17, 2025.

Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate was originally slated for February 13. However, Rocket Panda Games is moving things back a couple of months due to “unforeseen delays with the implementation and testing of the online modes.”

Super Technos World: River City & Technos Arcade Classics-

Arc System Works just confirmed that it will be publishing the newly-announced Super Technos World: River City & Technos Arcade Classics with a worldwide, English release on Nintendo Switch. It’s due out on April 24, 2025.

Famitsu had the first word on Super Technos World: River City & Technos Arcade Classics earlier today. Twelve games are included as well as various features such as “Suspend Save” and online support.

Earthblade cancelled

Earthblade, which was being created by Celeste developer Extremely OK Games, has now been cancelled. The studio provided an update on its official website today.

The decision to cancel Earthblade was made in December. A few things factored in here, including a split with Pedro Medeiros over “the IP rights of Celeste,” according to Extremely OK Games’ Maddy Thorson. While a resolution was met, Medeiros has moved on from the team and is hard at work on his game Neverway.
