Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment has just been announced for Nintendo Switch 2. It’ll be available this winter.

Building off of other games in the series, this one features the untold story from Hyrule’s distant past of the Imprisoning War that led to the events of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. According to Nintendo, it’s a “canonical tale”.

Square Enix is developing Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster for Nintendo Switch 2, the company just revealed. It’s due out on June 5, 2025.

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster brings back the original Nintendo 3DS RPG. As of now it seems that this will be just a graphical update.

Today, it was announced that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 will be appearing on Nintendo Switch 2. The game launches this summer.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 was previously announced to be coming to the current Nintendo Switch. That version is confirmed for July 11, 2025.

EA has confirmed a pair of sports franchises for Nintendo Switch 2. Along with EA Sports FC, the system is getting Madden NFL.

Today, Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion was announced for Nintendo Switch 2. The title is slated for September 5, 2025.

Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is the next entry in the series that began on Nintendo Switch. Just like the original, it will offer more mecha action.

Street Fighter 6 Nintendo Switch 2

Street Fighter 6, the latest entry in Capcom’s legendary fighting series, is heading to Nintendo Switch 2 complete with new amiibo. That news was just shared during today’s Nintendo Direct dedicated to the new console.

This mimics Capcom’s approach with the Nintendo 3DS many years ago. For the launch of that system, the company had Super Street Fighter 4: 3D Edition ready to go for launch.

Elden Ring Nintendo Switch 2

After its original launch in 2022, Elden Ring is making the jump to Nintendo Switch 2 with a Tarnished Edition. A release on the platform was confirmed as part of today’s Nintendo Direct for the console with the launch planned for 2025.

FromSoftware, the studio behind Dark Souls, is responsible for Elden Ring. The game is a full open world RPG with worldbuilding from American fantasy writer George R. R. Martin, known for the novels A Song of Ice and Fire.

Nintendo just revealed Drag x Drive, a brand new game for Switch 2. The game launches Summer 2025.

The project is based around the console’s new mouse feature. You’ll use the mice to pull off various moves.

As has been previously hinted at and rumored, Nintendo Switch 2 will feature a control scheme that lets players essentially use the Joy-Con as a mouse.

If you paid close attention to the system’s announcement video in January, it seemed all but a sure thing. We saw a glimpse of that with the Joy-Con being placed onto an attachment that has a flat surface and moving around in the same way that a mouse would on a mouse pad. Additionally, in February, a patent was discovered that further pointed to the feature being a thing.


Nintendo Switch 2 Edition

After it was first discovered a few days ago, Nintendo Switch 2 Edition games are now confirmed. These will include things like new features, graphics updates, and more for Switch 1 titles. Everything will be offered physically and digitally. Upgrade packs are planned for Switch 1 owners.

One such game is Super Mario Party Jamboree, which will offer new elements such as new modes and minigames with support for mouse controls and the built-in mic along with Bowser Live, a game-show themed experience. The game launches on July 24, 2025.
