Arcade Archives Strike Gunner S.T.G

Hamster has provided an early notice about the next Arcade Archives game by announcing Strike Gunner S.T.G for the system. It will be available worldwide on September 21, 2023.

Gunner S.T.G, which first released in 1991, is a vertical shooter. Athena developed the project though Tecmo published it in the arcades. The premise is that after an alien invasion takes place on Earth prompting a war, Mark McKenzie and Jane Sinclair pilot the Strike Gunner weapons to fight back and destroy the alien armies. 

Pricing for Arcade Archives Strike Gunner S.T.G is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

Inspector Gadget: Mad Time Party launch trailer

It’s launch day for Inspector Gadget: Mad Time Party, and that means we have a launch trailer. Microids is highlighting its new Switch title that features adventure and mini-game elements.

First announced earlier this year, Knight vs Giant: The Broken Excalibur now has a release date. Publisher PQube and developer Gambir Studio say it’ll be ready to go on October 5, 2023.

Knight vs Giant: The Broken Excalibur, a roguelite action RPG, was first made known for Switch in February. PQube initially provide a general 2023 launch window.

Assault Suit Leynos 2 Saturn Tribute

City Connection has announced yet another classic title for Switch, with Assault Suit Leynos 2 Saturn Tribute on the way to the platform. A release is planned for 2024.

Assault Suit Leynos 2 Saturn Tribute is a side-scrolling action shooter that saw its initial launch in 1997. Read more about it in the following overview:

River City Rival Showdown Switch

Original (7/5): Arc System Works is readying a Switch version of River City: Rival Showdown, according to the latest issue of Famitsu.

The game originally released for 3DS on October 27, 2016 in Japan. It then followed in the rest of the world on November 21, 2017.

Snow Bros. Wonderland

Tatsujin today announced Snow Bros. Wonderland, a new game following the original 1990 game. It will be available worldwide on Switch in 2024.

Fire Emblem Heroes New Heroes, Ascended Ced, & Rearmed Plumeria

Fire Emblem Heroes has announced New Heroes, Ascended Ced, & Rearmed Plumeria as its latest summoning event.

Rearmed Hero Plumeria: Rapturous Dream, Ascended Hero Ced: Sage of the Wind, Febail: Mercenary Waif, and Fee: Aspiring Knight will be featured here. Most of these characters represent Genealogy of the Holy War. Note that a Grand Hero Battle with Arion: Gungnir’s Heir is also planned.

Gunvolt Records Cychronicle

Inti Creates just unveiled Gunvolt Records Cychronicle, a new rhythm game for Switch in the Azure Striker Gunvolt series. It already has a confirmed release date of February 15, 2024. Those attending the 2023 Tokyo Game Show can give it a spin.

Gunvolt Records Cychronicle “will feature three of the series’ popular singers with controls that will make players feel like

Under Night In-Birth II Sys Celes Kaguya

Kaguya will be appearing in Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes as one of the game’s playable characters, Arc System Works and French-Bread just announced.

Kaguya, the “Twin Barrel Beauty”, is voiced by Mami Ozaki. She’s a Licht Kreis Executor and a member of Orie Ballardiae’s Execution team.

Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster launch trailer
