Dragon Quest Builders sold through 55% of its initial shipment in Japan

Dragon Quest Builders for Switch is one of the few entries in the franchise released in the west ahead of Japan. The Japanese release just took place on March 1.
For the week of February 26, we heard that Dragon Quest Builders sold just under 30,000 copies. Dengeki further reports that it sold through about 55% of its initial shipment in Japan.
The debut Japanese sales of Dragon Quest Builders for Switch aren’t really comparable to the initial PlayStation debut, but it’d be a bit silly to compare them in the first place. This is a somewhat late port at the end of the day, and we also can’t forget that Dragon Quest Builders 2 will be available sometime this year. Long term sales are also possible.

Riot: Civil Unrest was funded way back in 2014 via Indiegogo with development ongoing since then. Director Leonard Menchiari has experienced riots first-hand following economical crisis, and wanted to share what he went through in the form of a game. You’ll be able to play as either the police or the rioters as you partake “in some of the world’s most fractious disputes.”

Nintendo produces a special handbook for company employees each year. For us, the highlight is undoubtedly the amazing art and other images included inside.
We now have a look at the 2018 version. You can check out a few photos in the gallery below.
We may as well mention that some folks are speculating about Nintendo possibly showing designs for upcoming Super Mario Odyssey costumes in one of the pages. It remains to be seen if that’s the case, but at least the art is lovely.
Splatoon 2 – North American / European Splatfest #8 results

Another Splatfest in Splatoon has come to an end. The latest event was particularly interesting as the same theme was held in both North America and Europe, and the results were combined.
Nintendo asked players what came first: the chicken or the egg. Team Egg was more popular, but Team Chicken had a higher winning percentage for both solo and team battles. Because of that, Team Egg prevailed by a score of 2 – 1.
