Bayonetta 2 for Switch has a Smash Bros. Easter egg
Posted on 6 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 0 comments
Here’s something pretty neat in Bayonetta 2 on Switch. When you use certain amiibo, the message above appears, which looks like a clear reference to Bayonetta’s appearance in Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS. It is apparently not in the original Wii U version.
The first thought people are having is that the message could be teasing an appearance of Rodin in an upcoming Smash Bros. title. That’s probably looking too much into what’s just an Easter egg, but it can be fun to speculate.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild devs considered giving players control of the weather
Posted on 6 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch, Wii U | 0 comments
In Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the weather and environment around you are more important than ever before. Link goes up against some tough conditions, ranging from the blazing heat to frigid temperatures depending on your location. The weather is also a key element when scaling mountains. When it starts raining, you can bet that climbing will become much more difficult.
Giving players control of the weather was actually something the Zelda: Breath of the Wild team considered, according to Hidemaro Fujibayashi. The game’s director explained to Game Informer this month why it ultimately didn’t make sense in the end: it wouldn’t have been as fun and “would have increased the number of variables in the world.”

Some Bayonetta 2 Switch customers unable to redeem Bayonetta 1 code
Posted on 6 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 0 comments
Bayonetta 1 and 2 debuted on Switch today. Aside from the Japanese Non-Stop Climax Edition, the only way to obtain the first game is through a digital code.
Unfortunately, some customers are having issues redeeming Bayonetta 1 on the eShop. The issue seems to be present if the code begins with “URPH”.
Right now the primary way to address the situation is by calling Nintendo’s customer service. They should be able to provide assistance and offer a code that actually works. The new code given should start with something like “B1”.
