Switch is getting not one, but two Sonic games this year. Aside from Project Sonic 2017, Sonic Mania is also coming to the system.

You might be interested to hear that Tantalus is working to bring Sonic Mania to Switch. That’s the same studio behind Zelda: Twilight Princess HD as well as Deux Ex: Human Revolution and Mass Effect 3 on Wii U.

The Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017 finally happened this week. Nintendo delivered on a number of the major points that we needed to know, with the most important two being a release date and price. Switch launches on March 3 for $300 – probably a bit earlier and slightly more expensive than some had anticipated.

Games also took center stage, with Nintendo announcing 1-2-Switch, the new IP Arms, Splatoon 2, Super Mario Odyssey, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Fire Emblem Warriors, and Snipperclips. Zelda: Breath of the Wild is also confirmed for launch. From third-parties, we’re getting games like new Shin Megami Tensei and Tales entries, Project Octopath Traveler from Square Enix, Sonic Mania, FAST RMX, and more.

I’ll leave this brief since I’m still running around like a headless chicken having been insanely busy with little sleep since Thursday, but we want to know how you feel about everything that was shown. How do you feel about the price? What about the games? Are you pleased or disappointed? Let us know below!

The second day of Nintendo Switch Experience 2017 is now beginning in Japan, and there are plans to host a live stream straight from the show floor. Today’s broadcast begins at 5:30 PM PT / 8:30 PM ET / 1:30 AM in the UK / 2:30 AM in Europe.

There will be plenty of stage shows about specific Switch games (Splatoon 2, Arms, Dragon Quest Heroes I-II), booth reports, and a couple of concerts. Watch it all as it happens below.

Gameplay of Disgaea 5 Complete has arrived from Nintendo’s hands-on Switch events. Take a look at some off-screen footage below.

Snipperclips isn’t actually an internally-developed Nintendo project. Originally, it started out as “Friendshapes” from SFB Games where it first popped up at EGX 2015. Nintendo must have seen something interesting in it originally to pick up the game fully for publishing. SFB Games is still involved, and is working with Nintendo in collaboration.

The Switch is currently in the limelight when it comes to all things Nintendo, but the big N isn’t forgetting about 3DS. we already heard from Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime that there are no plans to abandon the dedicated handheld, and a new comment backs that up further.

Wired journalist Chris Kohler shared an additional comment from his interview with Reggie yesterday. Nintendo’s exec told the site, “There are [3DS] games that we haven’t announced yet.” Reggie further added that these will excite Kohler.

What do you want to see Nintendo announce for 3DS?

In its young history, Yacht Club Games has only made one game thus far. The studio has continued to work on Shovel Knight since its release in 2014 with a bunch of brand new content.

Shovel Knight still has some new things to offer this year, but it sounds like Yacht Club Games is starting to think about moving on. In a tweet published on the developer’s page, it states that the team hopes “to start work on a new project in 2017”.
