Update: Bumped to the top. Added in Sunday’s updates.

Nintendo Badge Arcade has been receiving daily updates since heading. Because it’s continually updated with content, we’re rounding up all of the additions and changes in a weekly post.

Here’s what’s on tap for the week of April 4:

– 10 Pokemon pixel panels
– 4 Mario character panels
– 10 Splatoon panels (3 with 1 day left)
– 6 Mario vs. Donkey Kong panels

With Star Fox Zero, Nintendo and PlatinumGames were targeting 60 frames per second. Digital Foundry takes a look at the game in its latest piece, and sees if this goal was achieved.

Based on the analysis, Star Fox Zero doesn’t always manage to stay at 60 FPS. Digital Foundry tested two stages: Corneria and Sector Alpha. In Corneria, the game dips to around 50 FPS. And in Sector Alpha, it can go as low as 40 FPS at times.

The reason behind the dips can almost certainly be attributed to the fact that Star Fox Zero renders two different viewpoints – one for the TV (1280×720), and another for the GamePad (854×480). When combined, the overall pixel output is higher than the average Wii U game.

You may recall that we put up a post last week regarding Mercenary Kings on NX. In a Twitter interaction with a fan, Tribute Games showed some interest in making that happen.

Tribute Games co-founder Jean-Francois Major saw our post, and actually brought up another possibility. He told us that if the studio can be in a position to have a game out for NX at launch, the team will port over Flinthook.

We followed up with Major within the past few days, who said he and Tribute Games “still stand by our dreams of making games for Nintendo consoles.” That being said, it’s tough for them to commit to NX since such little information is floating around at the moment. However, he reiterated, “given the chance to release a NX launch title, I think we would jump at the occasion.”

Major added that, regarding Flinthook, Tribute Games is “still trying to figure out where the title will end up,” and nothing is set in stone. The team is “still shopping around for the best partner for the game.”

Rynn’s Adventure: Trouble in the Enchanted Forest should be making its way to Wii U soon. There’s a new trailer to share for now, which you can find below.

Sometime in the future, Tiny Galaxy will be receiving a pretty major update. Those who purchased the game will be able to grab the new version at no extra cost.

Arcane Pixel is remaking Tiny Galaxy entirely. The game will feature improved visuals, lowered difficulty, fixed hit boxes on all sprites, and a redesigned level select menu. A new start menu will also be included, along with more/better animations, audio fixes, and general bug fixes.

Challenge levels are also being added as new content, which can be unlocked in each world. While the main courses are estimated to be about a third less difficult, “challenge levels will be more brutal than the current build of Tiny Galaxy,” according to Arcade Pixel. That’s on top of a redone opening sequence and more story scenes. Arcade Pixel has also teased “a few other features or changes being made,” but the developer is keeping quiet on those for now as they’ve yet to be fully implemented.

A Deadline report from last year revealed that Dentsu Entertainment USA had teamed up with Man of Action Entertainment to create a new Mega Man animated series. We haven’t heard much about the project since then, but it still appears to be happening.

Destructoid came across an updated landing page from Dentsu Entertainment USA which reconfirms Deadline’s original article. The cartoon is on track for a 2017 launch in line with Mega Man’s 30th anniversary. A logo has also appeared, which you can get a look at above.
