Armature clarifies plans to share Unreal Engine 4 code being used for Bloodstained’s Wii U port
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 6 Comments
It was recently announced that Armature will be porting Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night to Wii U. That also means that the developer will be working with Unreal 4 on Nintendo’s console for the first time.
Since Unreal Engine 4 games on Wii U is a relatively new thing, Armature said it will be sharing its code with other developers. But what exactly does this mean? In an update posted to the company’s website, Armature explained:
We didn’t provide very many details, and there’s been some confusion, so we just wanted to clear a few things up.
What we are planning to do is share the WiiU and Vita modifications to UE4 for Bloodstained after the game ships with authorized developers for the respective platforms (and we’re not sure how we’ll deliver the code, it’s a bit complicated because of all the parties involved).

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night prequel mini-game coming to 3DS
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News | 0 comments
It was only yesterday that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night cleared its prequel mini-game stretch goal on Kickstarter. With $4.5 million having been raised, Inti Creates is being tasked with creating this smaller title for a few platforms, including Wii U.
We can now say that this same mini-game will be on 3DS as well. Combined with PayPal donations, the Bloodstained Kickstarter has surpassed $4.75 million. That amount was needed in order to bring the prequel mini-game to portables.
Bloodstained’s Kickstarter has one final stretch goal to hit before the campaign ends. If funds reach $5 million, the game will feature a rogue-like dungeon mode.
You can check out Bloodstained on Kickstarter here. 13 hours remain before the campaign ends.

Mighty No. 9 will have a Miiverse community
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News, Wii U | 3 Comments
A few details were posted on the Mighty No. 9 website in an update shared yesterday. Based on one of the things listed – at least for the Wii U version – it sounded like there were no plans for Miiverse support.
The official Mighty No. 9 Twitter account has since clarified the situation. While the game itself won’t have any special Miiverse integration, there are still plans to add a Mighty No. 9 community to the social network.
Hey Mighties, spread the word: "No Miiverse support" means no in-game integration. There will be a Miiverse community! #MightyNo9

Mighty No. 9 launches on September 15 for Wii U. The 3DS version will release a bit further down the line.
