Wii U version of One Piece: Unlimited World Red will be getting “Day 1” Edition content in NA, but retail release still not planned
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 8 Comments
Bandai Namco recently confirmed that One Piece: Unlimited World Red will be receiving the “Day 1” Edition content on Wii U in North America. Some believed this was a sign that a small retail release would be planned as well.
That’s not actually the case though. Bandai Namco’s J. Kartje said on Twitter recently that Unlimited World Red will still be digital-only on Wii U in the states, but players will still be able to access the “Day 1” bonuses at launch.
He said:
@IMissBionix Where is the confusion? It is Wii U digital only, but the day one bonuses will be available at launch.
