Eguchi open to the possibility of Animal Crossing mobile apps
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 1 Comment
Animal Crossing series creator Katsuya Eguchi seems open to working with mobile devices, so long as fans are ultimately lead back to core experience on Nintendo platforms.
Eguchi, speaking with Joystiq, noted that some Animal Crossing players may play the title in short spurts, but many enjoy putting a lot of effort into their towns. Eguchi also believes that the 3DS’ inputs are better suited to Animal Crossing’s gameplay than what’s currently offered on smartphones.
Still, mobile devices could prove to be useful. Just as an example, Eguchi mentioned that there could be an app created so that clothing designs could be made on the go. Another hypothetical mobile app could provide reminders of appointments players make to hang out with the villagers in their town.

Warner Bros. brought two Batman: Arkham games to Wii U, but the series’ latest entry – Arkham Knight – will not be available on Nintendo’s platform. Fans may be curious as to why that is.
Rocksteady’s Dax Ginn did provide an answer of sorts while speaking with NowGamer. He told the site, “We have to make our technology choices specifically with reference to the gameplay objectives that we want, so we choose the platforms that are going to give us that.”

Inazuma Eleven GO: Shadow gets OFLC rating as well
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
Following this week’s listing for Inazuma Eleven GO: Light, the OFLC has now rated the game’s second version. Inazuma Eleven GO: Shadow was added to the Australian classification database yesterday.
As we mentioned previously, “Light” matches up with the Japanese Inazuma Eleven GO version “Shine”. “Shadow” should also correspond to the Japanese title “Dark”.
We’re waiting on Nintendo to make an official announcement about Inazuma Eleven GO for Europe and Australia, though these two ratings suggest that news is coming soon.
