Inazuma Eleven GO: Light and Inazuma Eleven GO: Shadow pit new hero Arion Sherwind against a shadowy organisation intent on controlling football!
14th May 2014 – In the Inazuma Eleven series to date, the likes of Mark Evans, Axel Blaze and Jude Sharp have been the legends who have written the school of Raimon Junior High into the football history books. Fast-forward to the present, however, and it is up to a new class of aspiring superstars to take to the pitch and go for glory in Inazuma Eleven GO: Light and Inazuma Eleven GO: Shadow, both launching for Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 2DS systems on 13th June.
Set ten years after the events of Inazuma Eleven 3, both Inazuma Eleven GO: Light and Inazuma Eleven GO: Shadow storylines kick off the tale of the young but talented Arion Sherwind as he begins his football career during hard times for Raimon Junior High. While Sherwind’s initial goal is simply to break into a formidable first team captained by the virtuoso player, Riccardo Di Rigo, bigger problems soon come to pass when the whole team is threatened with closure on the orders of Fifth Sector, a shadowy football governing body intent on controlling the ‘beautiful game’. With Raimon in disa rray, and a mysterious new player named Victor Blade causing unrest in the team, don’t be surprised to see a certain legendary goalie turning up to become the new coach in the team’s time of need…
4 new titles coming to 3DS LL promotion in Japan
Posted on 10 years ago by Jarop(@gamrah) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
Nintendo of Japan launched a campaign last month allowing users that bought a Nintendo 3DS LL from April 26th onwards to redeem a free title from a small selection. Previously only Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Yokai Watch were on that list, but starting June 1 those who are yet to redeem their vouchers will have a few more options:
- Pokemon X or Y
- Puzzles and Dragons Z
- Pokemon Art Academy (from June 19)
We’ve been seeing a few of these promotions pop up in recent months, the most notable one in the West being the free download available with Mario Kart 8 with its launch later this month.

Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 8 Comments
Tomorrow, Nintendo plans to release a new smartphone/tablet app in Japan for 3DS tethering. It will essentially allow the portable system to use a phone’s mobile networking.
Nintendo’s app is known as “Easy Tethering for Nintendo 3DS”. This acts as a partnership between DoCoMo and the Big N.
Initially, the app will be compatible with the following devices (with more to come in the future):
Smartphone:
????????????????
??????™??????????
?????????????????

Tablets

Easy Tethering for Nintendo 3DS is completely free and will allow customers who have never used tethering before to set up the process smoothly.
Those who download and use the software can then take a survey. Doing so will net them a code for an unspecified 3DS Virtual Console title. The survey will be available from early July to September 30th, 2014.

SEGA on Sonic Boom’s recent silence, more news on the way – including a surprise and 3DS assets
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News, Wii U | 6 Comments
SEGA’s Stephen Frost recently shared an update about Sonic Boom over on the Sonic Stadium forums, including why there hasn’t been much news about the game since its announcement.
Frost explained that the announcement’s timing took place when it did due to “key reasons”. There are also various partners involved since Sonic Boom involves more areas than just a video game (like the upcoming television show).
Starting at E3 next month, fans can expect regular updates about the Sonic Boom title. We’ll see new screenshots, a first look at the 3DS version, and even “a bit of a surprise”.
Head past the break for Frost’s full comments.
