More amiibo seem to be getting a restock in the near future. Lucario, Toon Link, Sheik, Charizard, and Marth have all seen updated children’s product safety certificates.
Almost every one of these amiibo went through a new wave of manufacturing in August. The only exception if Sheik, though it should still be included in an updated restock based on the updated certificate.
If and when we hear about amiibo restocks, we’ll be sure to pass the news along.

As many people know, Pokemon is an incredibly successful franchise today. But that wasn’t always the case. Before Pokemon exploded around the world, there was uncertainty as to how it would perform in the United States.
Game Freak’s Junichi Masuda mentioned to USgamer in an email interview that the team was told “that the Pokemon were too cute to be successful in the U.S. and that we should change the design of the characters.” He had also some concerns that Pokemon wouldn’t be accepted “for what it was” outside of Japan.

While we haven’t talked about it much here, the internet has recently been set ablaze with a fascination over a female version of Bowser. After Nintendo revealed that Toadette can turn into Peachette in New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, fans came up with Bowsette – an unofficial character Bowser would become after using the Super Crown.
In an interesting twist of fate, the new Art of Super Mario Odyssey book sort of has its own version of Bowsette. One of the included comic strips, pictured above, gives us a look at a Peach x Bowser design.
Note that this is not the same thing as Bowsette since the Super Crown isn’t involved.
