So this is kind of a crazy thing. Twitch users – thousands upon thousands, might I add – are attempting to play through Pokemon Red by entering commands on chat.

It’s almost been four days. How long will it take to complete?

SR Tronic will be forced to pay up €1 million after the Supreme Court of Munich ruled that copy devices made to play pirated games are illegal.

Nintendo intends to use this result in lawsuits against manufacturers, stores, and import companies involved with such devices. By doing so, it hopes to benefit more than 1,400 companies who contribute to the development and sale of legitimate video games.

An appeal for the verdict is a possibility for the future. However, Nintendo believes that any additional decisions would line up with current European and German rulings.

If there is an great investor who thinks ‘Virtue is its own reward’, I wish him/her to send me a message. If you know such a wonderful person, please induce him/her to cooperate.”

Uchikoshi concluded with the following words for fans:

In this week’s issue of Famitsu, Masahiro Sakurai dedicated his regular column to the development of Japanese games. One fan wrote to Sakurai asking why titles seem to take so long to create in the country.

His response:
