Yesterday, Twin Galaxies delivered its verdict surrounding Billy Mitchell. It was ultimately decided to have Mitchell’s scores in Donkey Kong and other games removed. Moreover, he will no longer be able to submit scores to Twin Galaxies.

In line with Twin Galaxies’ decision, Guinness World Records is also removing Mitchell’s Donkey Kong scores along with his records for Pac-Man. This is due to the belief that Mitchell achieved his scores through emulation software and was not earned on an arcade machine.

Guinness said in a statement:

Off the Hook will have its third live performance later this month at Niconico Chokaigi 2018, Nintendo announced today. The concert will follow the events at Game Party Japan and the Splatoon European Championship.

The performance should be similar to the previous two outings. In addition though, Nintendo says that fans can look forward to a new song.

Off the Hook will be performing at Niconico Chokaigi 2018 on April 28.

Nintendo’s Shinya Takahashi was on hand for the BAFTA Games Awards earlier today. After the event wrapped up and the company took home a few awards, BBC briefly conducted an interview with Takahashi.

To begin, BBC asked how it feels to be a part of Nintendo’s comeback. Takahashi said in response:

GameStop has been the go-to retailer for SNES Classic Edition restocks as of late, but Amazon is now getting in on the fun as well. You can place an order on the retailer’s website here.

Oddly Amazon has this down as limited availability, though the SNES Classic Edition is less than 10% claimed at present. Still, keep that in mind if you plan on picking up a unit.
