Spot the Differences: Party! hitting the North American and European Wii U eShops this week

Spot the Differences: Party! is on track for a North American and European release this week. It’ll be available on Thursday for $5 / €5.
The game features 360 high-definition scenes and 3,600 differences to find. Those who are playing alone can experience Spot the Differences: Party! with the GamePad or Wiimote.
The following multiplayer modes are also supported for up to four players:
· In synchronous multiplayer mode, one player plays on the Gamepad while others play with Wii Remotes. They compete on who finds more differences.
· In turn-based multiplayer mode, players play in turn on the gamepad. In the end of each round, they get a synchronous replay on the TV to see who found differences fastest.

Image & Form teases big announcement

SteamWorld Dig developer Image & Form has some kind of announcement in the pipeline. And it will be big, apparently. We don’t know what Image & Form has planned, though we’ll be hearing about it “soon.”

Rayman Legends comparisons, Wii U version analyzed

Digital Foundry has put up a new piece analyzing the performance and visuals put into each version of Rayman Legends.
All versions of the game were deemed very similar from a technical perspective. The main differences come down to how Legends plays on Wii U as opposed to other platforms.

Bravely Default: For the Sequel details

With Square Enix opening the official Bravely Default: For the Sequel website, new details on the updated 3DS title have emerged. You can find a new batch of information below.
– Over 100 improvements
– Game is equipped with a new battle system from the sequel currently in development
– UI overhaul
– Ex: Compatibility between jobs and equipped items can be seen on the equip screen
– Enhanced battle tempo
– Small adjustments to the battle’s motion and effect
– Therefore, speed of battles has increased
– Replay available at up to four times normal speed
– Enable the auto input function and commands that you entered during your previous turn will repeat automatically
– Event Viewer lets players replay scenes that have already taken place
– Players can import data from the original game
– Bring over your level, jobs, job level, money, items, Genome abilities, and D-Notebook
– 3 save slots reconfirmed
– More options such as difficulty settings and enemy counter rate
– Redrawn top maps
– Characters who lacked variety in the original game now have facial expressions
– Designed to match the flow of conversation, characters will reveal their emotions
– Chapter 7/8 revisions
– The episodes and battle events about the Asterisk holders have been expanded.

Square Enix trademarks “Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call”

Square Enix doesn’t appear to be done with Theatrhythm Final Fantasy. A few days ago, the company registered a new trademark relating to the 3DS game.
Last Friday, Square Enix picked up “Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call” in the US – a name that hints at a re-release of some kind. Might the title be coming out once more with extra content?
UK software sales (Week ending 8/31) – Rayman Legends sells the most on Wii U

First week sales for Rayman Legends are in. The game isn’t lightning the charts on fire, but it did outsell origins by around 20%. Legends also sold the most on Wii U – 45% of total sales came from Nintendo’s console.
