Black Forest Games considering patch for Giana Sisters off-TV play audio issues

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams doesn’t work as intended with off-TV play. When initiated, the game’s audio goes missing.
The good news is that this wasn’t just a simple oversight – Black Forest Games is aware of the issues. On Twitter, the studio said it is currently “considering a patch depending on how it works on the system.”
The tweet reads:
Regarding the sound issues on the #WiiU pad: we are considering a patch depending on how it works on the system.

Nintendo picks up a few Gamescom 2013 awards

Nintendo managed to secure three awards at this year’s Gamescom. Mario Kart 8 was selected in the “Best Wii U Game” and “Best Family Game” categories while Zelda: A Link Between Worlds was chosen as the “Best Mobile Game”.

Level-5 sales: Professor Layton, Inazuma Eleven, Ni no Kuni, and Guild

Professor Layton has been Level-5’s most-successful series. The franchise has spawned 15 million copies around the world since the original’s release, the company announced during its “Vision” event in Japan held earlier today.
Level-5 provided sales updates on other IPs, too. Inazuma Eleven has also been access with global sales reaching 6.5 million units. Meanwhile, combined sales of Ni no Kuni on the PlayStation 3 and DS stand at 1.4 million sales worldwide.
There’s also a bit of news about Level-5’s Guild series. The likes of Liberation Maiden, Aero Porter, and Crimson Shroud, have sold 400,000 digital copies in total. Around 50% of the share comes from overseas downloads.
