Brawlhalla Avatar The Last Airbender

Brawlhalla today unveiled its latest collaboration, with the popular television show Avatar: The Last Airbender set to enter the game. Players will be able to get their hands on the content starting November 16, 2022.

Aang, Toph, and Zuko are all set to enter the fray as Wu Shang, Kor, and Hattori respectively. Here’s the rundown on each:

Doraemon Story of Seasons Friends of the Great Kingdom gameplay

Over an hour of gameplay is now available from the final version of Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom. This is the latest mashup between Marvelous’ farming series and the well-known Japanese icon.

Pokemon Scarlet Violet Gimmighoul

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet have just revealed Gimmighoul as a brand new Pokemon. This follows the recent “chest” teaser site and Pokemon GO datamine leak.

Gimmighoul actually has two forms: Chest Form and Roaming Form. With the former, it’s known as the Coin Chest Pokemon, has the Ghost type, comes in at 1′ in terms of height, weighs 11 pounds, and the has the Rattled Ability. The Pokemon Company hasn’t delved into stat specifics for the Roaming Form just yet.

Foretales physical

A physical version of Foretales is planned on Switch, according to retailer listings.

Foretales was announced for Switch in March of this year and came out in September. But thus far, it has only been sold as a digital title on the eShop.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope

In a recent news post sent out to Switch owners, Nintendo provided a listing of the top 15 European eShop downloads for October 2022.

For the second month in a row, Disney Dreamlight Valley took the top spot. Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope came out at the end of October, but still managed to place within the top three. Other additions include No Man’s Sky at #7, Bayonetta 3 at #11, Persona 5 Royal at #13, and NieR: Automata at #14.

Sonic Frontiers is going for the open zone concept, which at first glance may seem like more of a challenge to run well on Switch, especially compared to prior entries in the series. However, Sonic Team boss Takashi Iizuka has indicated that the Hedgehog Engine is up for the task.

Speaking with Gamereactor, Iizuka spoke about the challenges of making a game that’s releasing across a variety of platforms and different generations of hardware. When it comes to Switch, though it won’t have the same “high-end assets” (and it’ll have a lower resolution and frame rate), Iizuka believes the game looks “very comparable” on Nintendo’s console.
