Exophobia delayed

Publisher PM Studios and developer Zarc Attack have delayed the release of Exophobia. The retro-inspired first-person shooter was originally planned for today, but will now release in April 2022. PM Studios did not provide a reason for the delay.

Steve and Alex Minecraft Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo packaging

Nintendo’s official Japanese online store has posted the packaging for the upcoming Steve and Alex Minecraft amiibo for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Get a look at the design above.

At least in Japan, Nintendo will be selling the two figures as a double pack or as standalone products. The company has not clarified its distribution plans for North America and Europe.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Switch

After it previously hit Wii U in 2013, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes has just landed on Switch. Warner Bros. Interactive and TT Games have readied a trailer to promote the news.

Arcade Paradise delayed

Arcade Paradise has been delayed and will no longer release this year as originally planned. Instead, publisher Wired Productions and developer Nosebleed Interactive are moving the game to Spring 2022.

A new offer has just started on My Nintendo for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. If you buy the game or select DLC, you’ll receive double the Gold Points.

Note that the offer only applies to purchases made through the eShop or Nintendo.com. It works with the main game, Fighters Pass, and Fighters Pass Vol. 2. Additionally, it’s compatible with any of the characters released thus far: Piranha Plant, Joker, Hero, Banjo & Kazooie, Terry, Byleth, Min Min, Steve & Alex, Sephiroth, Pyra/Mythra, and Kazuya. Mii Fighter costumes do not appear to be eligible. 

A large batch of screenshots have arrived to show off Sora in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the game’s final DLC character. We’re able to see his moves, the Kirby transformation, and more. We’re also able to see Sora’s various outfits.

Sora was just revealed for the final character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate today. Nintendo has now put out a press release recapping all of the news and announcements coming from the presentation hosted by director Masahiro Sakurai.

Steve Alex amiibo Smash Bros. Ultimate

Today’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate presentation for the reveal of Sora contained a small update on amiibo, and specifically for Steve and Alex from Minecraft. Yes, two separate figures will be produced. Both are planned for Spring 2022.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is done with its DLC fighters, but more amiibo will be released well into the future. Min Min, which we heard about previously, is due out in Spring 2022 as well.

Beyond that director Masahiro Sakurai has confirmed has also confirmed that Sephiroth, Pyra, Mythra, and Kazuya will be receiving figures. There’s no word on release timing at present.
