CD Projekt Red says The Witcher 3 saw “excellent sales” on Switch

CD Projekt Red reported sales for the first half of 2020 this week. It was good news for the company, as revenue saw a 70 percent jump.
What’s noteworthy in the Nintendo scene is a brief but interesting comment from Piotr Nielubowicz, VP and CFO of CD Projekt. Nielubowicz said that The Witcher 3 experienced “unceasing popularity” and the Switch version achieved “excellent sales”.

Falcom up for bringing more Kiseki games from The Legend of Heroes to Switch with outside help

The Legend of Heroes is starting to find a home on Switch through the Kiseki series. Trails of Cold Steel III just launched on Switch this summer, and Trails of Cold Steels IV is following in 2020. In an interview with Chinese outlet A9VG, Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo discussed the other possibilities of other entries appearing on the platform.

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit dev shares blog post following announcement

Nintendo doesn’t typically work with external partners on Mario Kart games, but that’s exactly what happened with Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit. Velan Studios, a company in New York founded in 2016 by former Vicarious Visions heads Karthik Bala and Guha Bala, is leading the way on development. This is one of their first projects.
Once yesterday’s announcement was made known, Velan Studios shared a blog post about the company and a bit about the game itself. You can read it in full below.
Stardew Valley dev continues to tease version 1.5 update with new screenshot

ConcernedApe has teased the big 1.5 update for Stardew Valley. Another screenshot was shared today, which you can find above.
The 1.5 update was announced back in February. Last month, it was confirmed that players will be able to move their beds.
Stardew Valley originally launched for Switch back in October 2017. A new physical version is coming soon.

1996 FPS RPG Strife returning on Switch with Veteran Edition

Nightdive Studios has a knack for bringing back classic titles. It’s now been revealed that Strife, a first-person shooter RPG from 1996, is coming to Switch. The title will be released as Strife: Veteran Edition.

Switch launches in Brazil on September 18, costs about $560

Nintendo will officially release Switch in Brazil on September 18, it’s been announced. However, the system will come at quite the cost. In Brazil, Switch will set buyers back R$2999, which amounts to about $560.
Switch will be sold with both the gray and neon versions. It will be released together with the Pro Controller and separate Joy-Con, available in two bundles with red/blue neon and pink/green neon options.
