The World Ends with You: The Animation

The World Ends With You anime won’t debut until 2021. However, fans will be able to get a sneak peek in just a few days. It’s been announced that in Japan, a part of the anime’s first episode will air on September 18.

Following the broadcast, a 7 Days campaign will be held on the official The World Ends With You Twitter account. Additional information about the event will be shared on September 18.

The World Ends With You anime will see a worldwide release in 2021. Funimation will be handling it in the west.

Leoful and Busy Toaster Games are back with another character trailer for Georifters, the ground bending platformer for Switch.

Eastasiasoft has officially announced the physical version of Waifu Uncovered. Funbox Media will be involved with distribution.

Waifu Uncovered launches physically in November. It’ll come with a set of eight dual-sided art cards.

Tin & Kuna

To celebrate today’s release, Aksys Games and Black River have shared a launch trailer for the puzzle platformer Tin & Kuna. Check it out below.

Tin & Kuna is available both physically and digitally for Switch.

The release of The Jackbox Party Pack 7 is just on the horizon. Jackbox Games has announced that the continuation of the series is planned for an October 15 release.

The Jackbox Party Pack 7 includes Quiplash 3, Champ’d Up, Talking Points, Blather ‘Round, and The Devils and the Details. We have more on these different experiences here.

The Origin: Blind Maid

Badland Publishing announced today that it has teamed up with Paraguayan Warani Studio on the release of The Origin: Blind Maid, a first-person horror adventure game. It’s expected on Switch in Q1 2021.

Othercide

Yesterday, the turn-based strategy game Othercide arrived on Switch. Find some gameplay footage in the video below.

Othercide is out now for Switch via the eShop.

A new Summoning Focus has arrived in Fire Emblem Heroes, New Power. This summoning event features Heroes who have gained new skills: Celica: Warrior Priestess, Hector: Brave Warrior, Ephraim: Sacred Twin Lord, and Veronica: Brave Princess. As usual, the first summon of this event will cost no Orbs. This event lasts until September 16.

Additionally, there are some new weapons to refine: Royal Sword, Maltet, Garm, and Hliðskjálf.

Jack Jeanne

Broccoli has released a new trailer for their upcoming rhythm-opera, investigation game Jack Jeanne. This almost 2 minute trailer shows off some of the characters and settings as well as some gameplay. It also gives a brief introduction to the story, although entirely in Japanese.

Jack Jeanne is scheduled to release on Switch in Japan on December 3.

Koei Tecmo’s full channel presentation slated for TGS 2020 has been revealed in a graphic on their official website. There are quite a few Switch games on this list, including Angelique Luminarise and Monster Rancher 1 & 2.

The full list is included below, courtesy of Gematsu, and the graphic on their website (with a rough translation) has also been added as well. Koei Tecmo’s presentation at TGS 2020 is planned to run from September 23 to 27 with the Koei Tecmo Channel taking place on September 26.

Update: The following information comes from a press release on 4Gamer, translated by 黒凧 BlackKite (@bk2128) on Twitter. The mystery game in Koei Tecmo’s lineup appears to be from the Midas brand, who are known for their mobile games.

So, it means it is a good chance that the mystery announcement will be a mobile game.
