Earlier this week, concept art emerged from what looked to be cancelled Zelda and Mario spin-offs from Retro Studios. Sammy Hall, a former artist at the company, shared the shots online via his ArtStation account. The Zelda game would have featured Sheik while the Mario one was focused around Boo.

Hall reconfirmed to IGN that both projects were only in pre-production. He told the site:

New DLC for One Strike is now available. Players can get their hands on Rise of the Dragons, QubicGames has announced.

Rise of the Dragons features a trio of new stages, three new chiptunes, and three new fighters. The experienced ninja Dragon, master of hook Swords Daiyu, and Chinese fighter Lotus have been added.

Metalhead Software today announced that sometime after Super Mega Baseball 3 launches, the game will be updated with Custom Pennant Race. This online mode lets players organize a private cross-platform Pennant Race and invite friends to participate. Up to 32 total users are supported.

SNK Gals' Fighters

SNK Gal’s Fighters, the classic fighter from the Neo Geo Pocket Color, launched on April 30 for the Nintendo Switch in Europe. Now, it has seemingly disappeared from the eShop.

While the game is still currently available to purchase on the United States eShop, the link that previously belonged to it in Europe now results in a url that says “Not Found.” At this time it is unknown whether this is an error or a deliberate action but hopefully this issue will be addressed in the near future.

Ninjala

Ninjala was originally supposed to release on the Switch eShop at the end of this month. Unfortunately, that’ll no longer be happening.

GungHo Online Entertainment announced via social media that Ninjala has been pushed back to June 24. This is due to the impact of the coronavirus. GungHo apologized to those who have been waiting for the game.

The coronavirus has led to the cancellation of major gaming expos in 2020, including E3 and Gamescom. Now you can add Tokyo Game Show to that list as well.

In a statement today, show organizers said that it will no longer hold a physical event “after a long consideration to place the utmost priority on the health and safety of visitors, exhibitors and stakeholders.” But while it’s been scrapped in its traditional form, an online event will be held instead.
