Spirit of the North

Merge Games, in partnership with developer Infuse Studios, has announced that the third-person exploration-puzzle adventure game Spirit of the North is heading to Switch. A release is planned for this spring.

Here’s an overview of Spirit of the North, along with a trailer:

In just a couple of weeks, Switch will be receiving a pair of first-person shooters in the form of Metro Redux. Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light will both be delivered to the platform.

Nintendo Switch

Switch continued its streak last month as the best-selling hardware platform in the United States. In terms of both unit and dollar sales, nothing did better.

It’s worth noting that hardware spending in January decreased 35 percent year-over-year to $129 million. Additionally, all in-market platforms declined when compared to a year ago.

Publisher PQube and developer Fiction Factory Games have dated the romantic comedy visual novel Arcade Spirits. The game officially launches on May 1, including a physical release in Europe. Those in North America can pick up a copy on May 5.
