Publisher Team17 and developer Ghost Town Games have announced that the new Carnival of Chaos DLC is launching today. It features “a new burst of culinary delights with new carnival inspired recipes, new levels, new chefs, combo meals, and even cannons”.

Here’s a rundown of what’s included:

Chucklefish and Sold out have announced the release date for Wargroove’s physical release, known as the Deluxe Edition. Copies will be available at retailer starting October 29.

Aside from the game, fans will be given a downloadable OST, commander sticker sheet, map of Aurania, strategy manual, and reversible cover.

Although Astral Chain has already been released, PlatinumGames is continuing its developer blog series. This time around, we’re able to hear from sound designer Naoki Hiraiwa.

In his piece, Hiraiwa discusses the little touches put into the sound effects. This includes choosing the impact of between the male and female twins, differences for the Slime-type chimeras, and effects used to help during gameplay.

The annual Japan Game Awards were held at the Tokyo Game Show today. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate took home several wins, including the esteemed Grand Award.

As for other products represented, Nintendo Labo won for “Special Prize”. Dragon Quest Builders 2 was included in the “Award for Excellence” category.

Nintendo has announced Ring Fit Adventure for Switch. The adventure game, which “incorporates fun new accessories that turn real-world movement into in-game actions in a quest to save the world”, launches on October 18.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening

We’re just a little over a week away from the release of the Link’s Awakening remake on Nintendo Switch. Several outlets just released some new footage of the game, which you can watch below.

Last year, Frictional Games’ Thomas Grip talked about the possibility of bringing the Amnesia series of horror games to Nintendo Switch. Today, that possibility became a reality – the Amnesia: Collection is out now on the Switch eShop. This collection includes a total of three games: Amnesia: The Dark Descent, its expansion Amnesia: Justine, as well as Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs. Check out the announcement trailer:

It’s Thursday, which means that a new map has been added to Tactics Drills in Fire Emblem Heroes. “Long-Haired Swordsmen” can be found in the Grandmaster section; clearing it gets you 300 feathers.

Also, the next Lost Lore event has been announced. It’ll start on September 14. No further details have been announced so far, such as which Fire Emblem world will be the focus this time, or if there will be any changes from the first event.

Today, Capcom revealed a brand new mode that’ll be included in the Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection. “Z Chaser” is essentially a speedrun mode in which you try to clear stages as quickly as possible. There’s also a local co-op option, as well as online leaderbords. Check out the trailer for it:

Earlier this week, we heard that a new Umihara Kawase game was in the works for Switch. At the Tokyo Game Show today, Success Corporation announced that the project in question is Umihara Kawase BaZooKa!! (title tentative).

Umihara Kawase BaZooKa!! is a “rubbering battle action”. Up to four players can participate in online multiplayer. Original playable characters are planned, along with Success and Studio Saizensen characters from games such as Sayonara Umihara Kawase, Doki Doki Poyacchio, and Cotton.

Umihara Kawase BaZooKa!! launches for Switch in summer 2020. It will include English, Japanese, and Chinese language options.
