New Snake Pass update out now; restores old icon and adds Arcade Mode

A new update for Snake Pass on Switch is now available. It changes the game’s icon back to the original icon, which has been the topic of much discussion in the Switch community. The update also adds a new Arcade Mode.

The official Fire Emblem Warriors Twitter account has posted screenshots of the three new History Mode maps that will be part of the upcoming Fire Emblem Awakening DLC pack. The three new playable characters that are added with this DLC are Owain, Tharja and Olivia, and their corresponding History Mode maps are based on the chapters in which they are recruited in Fire Emblem Awakening.

Pokemon Shuffle update (03/27/18)

In this week of Pokemon Shuffle the Ultra Challenge stage is White Kyurem and the Great Challenge Stages are Chikorita (Winking), Dialga, Lycanroc, Toxapex and Salazzle. The one chance per day stage is Cosmog and the daily Pokemon are Lunatone, Tyrogue, Castform, Mantyke and Solrock. The competitive stage is Mega Manectric and Pokemon Safari includes Darumaka, Electrike, Plusle, Minun, Alolan Diglett, Darmanitan, Pikachu (Winking), Raichu (Winking), Manectric and Alolan Dugtrio.

A new Pokemon GO outfit has become available based around the Ace Trainers from Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby. You’ll be able to unlock it by earning Gym Leader medals and then purchased in the Style Shop. It comes in three colors based on the three different team affiliations.

A new update has gone live for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. On both iOS and Android, version 1.3.1 is now available.
Nintendo’s official patch notes only mention bug fixes. However, it likely won’t be long until this week’s update is datamined. We’ll report on any notable findings soon.

WayForward published an update today on their Kickstarter page for Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, detailing the final stretch goal: the Costume Pack DLC. The content boasts three new adventures, featuring Ninja Shantae, Beach Shantae, and Officer Shantae. The developer notes the upcoming DLC will be launching in a few weeks.
New Switch update out now (version 5.0.1)

Following up on the last notable Switch update, the system has received another firmware download. Version 5.0.1. is out now.
As you would expect from the small change in version numbers, there isn’t too much involved with today’s update. Nintendo only says: “General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience”. That’s it for now.
