WWE 2K18

Nintendo’s website listing for WWE 2K18 offers up some new information about the game’s download. Similar to 2K Sports’ other recent title 2K18, you’ll need quite a bit of free space.

The digital version of WWE 2K18 requires a microSD card with at least 32GB of free space. That’s in addition to 1GB on the system memory. The microSD card has to be inserted before beginning the download.

We still don’t actually know when WWE 2K18 is heading to Switch. Thus far, 2K has only said we can expect it sometime this fall.

Detention has been rated for Switch in Taiwan. Because of that, we can probably assume that it’s coming to the console.

Detention earned a great deal of acclaim when it first debuted on Steam earlier this year. It’s a 2D atmospheric horror side-scroller in which two students are trapped in a high school and need to find a way to escape.

More information about Detention can be found below, along with a trailer.

Much has been made about Switch menu game icons over the past few months. Many system owners have voiced their opinions about them – with some vocal players dissatisfied with the way they look. Snake Pass, LEGO Worlds, and SteamWorld Dig 2 are among the titles people have requested to be changed.

To circumvent this issue, developer Bplus Games is taking a proactive approach in asking its followers to participate in a poll to determine which icon will be used for their upcoming Puzzle Box Maker. The four options are viewable in the image above. This seems to be a sensible approach in handling some players’ strong feelings about what an icon should look like.

The Super Famicom Mini sold over 350,000 units in its first week in Japan. Had Nintendo shipped more units, that number likely would have been higher.

Dengeki reports that the system sold through 90 percent of its initial shipment. Naturally, stores quickly ran out of stock.

Nintendo has pledged to restock the Super Famicom Mini as well as the SNES Classic Edition. The NES Classic Edition will also return next year.

FDG Entertainment had some big news for Monster Boy last week. The game is seeing a graphical overhaul with reworked characters and animations. Monster Boy implemented hand-drawn characters since the last time we saw it.

Today, FDG revealed the next redone character in a blog post. Our first look at the new version of the frog is above.

Here’s what FDG had to say about the change:

As you can see, the proportions of the frog are now different. With the new freedom of entirely hand-drawn animation we are not dependent on an overarching skeleton/puppet system anymore which means we can let him do really cool stunts. Swinging rings and using the tongue will now look much more dynamic. He’s also looking more like a frog than before which adds a lot to the visual variety while playing Monster Boy. We hope you like the new look!

Thanks to HerosShade for the tip.
