A new month is here! We just entered October this week, so that means we want to know what you’ve been playing.
Have you started up something entirely new for the month? With all of the new indies on Switch, have you given any of them or a try? Or maybe you’re starting up Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions, which launched yesterday. Whatever the case, let us know in the comments below!

Miitomo – returning Miitomo Drop stage theme (10/7/17)

Miitomo has been updated with more content. Users will find returning stages with more items.
“Look sharp! Smart Dresser” is the returning theme. The stages provide the following:
– Regal jacket w/ bow tie
– Fine plaid skirt
– Girls’ prep school top (set)
– Girls’ prep school skirt (set)
– Dashing jacket + vest
– Way-casual pants
– Frilly sailor outfit
– Frilly sailor outfit
– Casual school top
– Casual blazer
– Casual school pants
– Casual sneakers
The returning stage will be available until October 10 at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET.

The final game played at the Nintendo World Championships 2017 tonight was none other than Super Mario Odyssey. Nintendo had the last two contestants play the game, which included some new footage. Watch the full recording below.

ARMS version 3.2.0 arriving this month, trailer

Today, Nintendo debuted a brand new trailer showing what’s to come for ARMS, as a new update is on the way. Version 3.2.0 arrives later this month.

The big highlight of the trailer is towards the end when Nintendo shows a character who definitely looks a lot like Spring Man. What’s going on there?
Pokemon GO update rolling out (version 1.47.1 / 0.77.1)

Another new update is making its way out for Pokemon GO. On iOS, players will have access to version 1.47.1. Android users will be able to download 0.77.1.
The latest update mainly involves bug fixes. Also, costumed Pokemon can no longer be mass-transferred, and a confirmation dialogue will show up when attempting to transfer such Pokemon.

Reggie’s opening message at the Nintendo World Championships 2017

After a two-year hiatus, the Nintendo World Championships are back. Nintendo will be hosting the 2017 event today, with the proceedings beginning not too long from now. The tournament should kick off at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM in the UK / 11 PM in Europe.
You can watch the Nintendo World Championships as the event happens below. We’re not saying there will be any announcements (there may very well be nothing), but if anything happens to show up, we’ll have the news on the site.
Hallmark now selling Yoshi and Luigi ornaments

Earlier this year, Hallmark began selling Super Mario ornaments. Mario was the first out of the gate. Another two are now available as well.
Online you can grab a Yoshi ornament for about $15. Luigi also started showing up at Hallmark this weekend, though you’ll only find him in stores.
