A new wave of Mario toys recently hit the UK and Japan as part of Happy Meals at McDonald’s locations. In North America, they’ll soon be distributed there as well.

The official McDonald’s website notes that Mario is next in line for Happy Meals. A specific date isn’t given, but the toys should be showing up soon.

We’ve already heard that Switch is receiving huge attention from Square Enix this year. Additionally, CEO Yosuke Matsuda informed Nikkei that the company is considering previously-released titles for the platform. “We’re even thinking about what feasible existing game titles we want to successively port [onto the Switch],” he said.

Any and all titles may be up for consideration here. Seiken Densetsu Collection is coming to Switch in Japan soon, which features games that came out many years ago. On the other hand, Square Enix brought Dragon Quest Heroes I-II out for Switch’s Japanese launch last month, which had titles that were made within the past couple of years.

With Minna de Waiwai! Spelunker releasing in Japan later this month, Square Enix has prepared a demo for the game. Players can get a taste of the upcoming title by downloading the trial from the eShop.

Square Enix’s demo offers the beginning of World 1. Solo and multiplayer with up to four players are included, with TV and tabletop modes supported. You’re limited to local multiplayer here, but the full version has online play.

And remember: as long as you have a Japanese Nintendo Account, you should be able to access the Japanese eShop and download the demo.

It won’t be much longer until Mr. Shifty ends up on Switch. tinyBuild announced today that the game will launch on Nintendo’s console alongside Steam on April 13.

The company wrote in a tweet:

Mr. Shifty was confirmed for Switch during the Nindies Showcase in February. It’s an action game that “follows a teleportation-fueled heist to break into the world’s most secure facility.”

Square Enix games were almost entirely absent from the Wii U, but it looks like this won’t be the case on the Nintendo Switch. Project Octopath Traveler was showcased at the Switch event in January and recently Square Enix revealed the Seiken Densetsu collection as well. In a recent interview with Nikkei, Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda reiterated the company’s interest in the Switch. He stated that out of all the various new gaming platforms being released in 2017, such as the Microsoft’s Project Scorpio or Windows 10 Game Mode, Square Enix’s attention will be mostly focused on the Switch.

Matsuda also says that having multiple gaming platforms on the market is a good thing, and as such hopes that the Switch will be a success.

Prior to the release of Fire Emblem Heroes, the “Choose your Legends” event was held where people could vote on their favorite Fire Emblem characters from across the franchise. Ike, Roy, Lyn and Lucina were the top ranking characters, which means they will be added to the game wearing special outfits. When this is going to happen was still unclear though – until today. Thanks to the Japanese Fire Emblem Heroes Twitter account, we at least have a rough idea when these characters will be added to the game, namely this Summer. Also included in this tweet was a brief voice clip of Ike:
