My Nintendo now features User ID and child accounts
Posted on 7 years ago by Jake in News | 5 Comments
The My Nintendo page update has featured a few changes. For starters, you can set a User ID, which is a unique name that will allow for easier logins to My Nintendo. Since these are unique, we recommend setting one up, just in case you don’t want your name taken. To get one, go to your Account Settings and choose edit, then go to the User ID option on the left side. Also, unlike Nintendo Network IDs, you can actually change your My Nintendo User ID at any time.
Second, child accounts are now available. These will allow children (between 13 and 17 years old) to use Nintendo Account services. Note: To activate these, you will need to make a small transaction ($0.50 in the US) to verify consent.
