A European release date is now set. Developer HullBreach Studios announced through Twitter today that the game is lined up for February 26.

The tweet reads:

In making the original Xenoblade Chronicles, Monolith Soft wanted to include a full enemy encyclopedia. The team sadly ran out of development time so it wasn’t in the final game.

In new tweets published on the Xenoblade Chronicles X Twitter account by Monolith Soft’s Kojima, it’s confirmed that the RPG will feature an enemy encyclopedia. Players will be able to view 3D models of monsters they encounter, check what drop items they have, and more. Koh Kojima also teased that Xenoblade Chronicles 3D will include this as well.

Nintendo has started putting up support pages for the New 3DS XL on its North American website, with one that details microSD cards that have been tested to work with the system. You’ll find all of the notable information below.

The New Nintendo 3DS XL system comes with a 4GB microSDHC card for game save data and downloadable software.

If you wish to upgrade your microSDHC card, the following storage devices work with the New Nintendo 3DS XL system. The New Nintendo 3DS XL system can utilize up to a 2GB microSD card and up to a 32GB microSDHC card. The following devices have been subjected to basic performance tests by Nintendo:


Those who access Pokemon Bank starting on February 27 can receive Meganium, Typhlosion, and Feraligatr with their hidden abilities of Leaf Guard, Flash Fire and Sheer Force respectively. All three are being distributed through the Pokemon Link feature in Pokemon X, Y, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire. There’s a limit of one of each per Pokemon Bank. Note that the promotion ends on November 30.
