Digimon World: Next Order frame rate resolution

Bandai Namco has shared details about the frame rate and resolution for the new Switch version of Digimon World: Next Order. The technical information was posted on the official Japanese website.

Bandai Namco says that the is largely a 60 FPS experience. However, during some of the more intense moments, the frame rate in Digimon World: Next Order may drop to around 30 FPS. This is in comparison to the PS4 version that always runs at 60 FPS.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope grid

According to Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope producer Xavier Manzanares, the game originally had the grid that was featured in the series’ first entry. For the sequel, Ubisoft went with a more open approach. Rather than limiting players to a grid, players were given more control.

Manzanares told EDGE in a previous issue that the grid system was in place back in 2018. However, the team ended up changing things the following year.
