Wobbly Tooth is working on an update for Battleminer, the developer announced via Miiverse.

There are two primary goals with the patch. First, several bugs will be addressed – addressing saving and Creative Mode issues in particular. New features are also on the way like an increase in the world ceiling and something else that Wobbly Tooth is keeping secret.

Here’s the full Miiverse post:

Teyon has brought many, many games to the 3DS eShop. It now looks like the company is finally gearing up for some downloadable Wii U titles as well.

A listing on the USK confirms that Teyon is bringing “Zombie Defense” to Wii U. It seems to be a strategy game of some sort, though no other information is available at this time.

Finding amiibo through online retailers can be rather tough. Figures constantly go in and out of stock, so it can be difficult keeping track of what’s available.

So here’s the latest. Of the wave 2 amiibo, Diddy Kong is currently the only one Amazon is selling directly. None of the others are in stock at the moment.

As of this post’s publication, GameStop is selling Luigi, Zelda, and Diddy Kong. Captain Falcon and Little Mac are currently gone. It’s also worth mentioning that Shulk pre-orders are sold out again.

No Little Mac or Diddy Kong over at Toys “R” Us. You can, however, purchase Luigi and Zelda amiibo.

Best Buy is pretty much out of everything. Little Mac, Zelda, Luigi, Captain Falcon, Diddy Kong are all sold out!

Capcom brought along The Great Ace Attorney to Jump Festa 2015 this past weekend. Attendees were able to give the game a go through a new playable demo. For details as to what was included in the play session, read on below.

– Demo is set on a board to England
– Ryuunosuke and his assistant encounter Sherlock Holmes
– Holmes is interrogating a suspicious Russian man
– The collaborative deduction began with Holmes’ assessment of the Russian man (who he is and what crime he has committed)
– Holmes presents his evidence and explains how it supports his conclusions
– Throughout the explanation, something seems amiss
– This leads to the second half with Ryuunosuke breaking down Holmes’ reasoning and unveiling the truth
– There are certain phrases or points of focus that are wrong in Holmes’ argument
– Ex: Holmes says the Russian man is holding a pair of scissors because he intends to cut off his beard; use the touch screen to examine the Russian man from different angles, and focus on any suspicious points on his person
– Use this method to switch out the term “beard” in Holmes’ argument with the real term
– In the demo, the real term was “hair”
– This ultimately leads to the truth
– Find the flaws in Holmes’ explanation to reach the truth about who the Russian man is
– You’ll then be presented with a cliffhanger and a message saying to look forward to the rest of the story in the full game
– Holmes’ character description: “His unparalleled observation and deductive skills see not only the ‘truth’ but sometimes go beyond the truth and become a ‘rampage of logic.'”

Piracy is something that Nintendo has been forced to constantly battle over the years. Things aren’t quite as bad today compared to the Wii and DS era, but it remains an issue nonetheless.

Politico is now reporting that “Nintendo of America has hired Choe Groves Consulting to lobby the federal government on issues related to intellectual property, international trade and anti-piracy measures”. Jennifer Groves, a former senior director for IP and innovation at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, will lobby on Nintendo’s behalf. Since the end of 2009, Nintendo of America has spent only $50,000 on lobbying.

Nintendo of Europe posted a new message on its website with a holiday greeting from president Satoru Shibata. Check it out below:

Hello everyone! This is Satoru Shibata from Nintendo of Europe.
I would like to thank you all for your continuous support of Nintendo throughout 2014!
Thank you as well for always watching our Nintendo Direct broadcasts. I didn’t present them so often this year, but I still read all your many comments made during and after each Direct.
This year, I tried to attend as many game events and shows as I could, such as the Japan Expo in France, Gamescom in Germany, Milan Games Week, and Paris Games Week. In fact, I may even have spoken with some of you at these events! I like walking around game events and conventions like these, because I can really feel how much you all love Nintendo games.

I was glad to see that many people enjoyed playing Mario Kart 8, Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2, and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. Even though I couldn’t attend the Manga Fair in Spain, I was thrilled that Pokémon generated a lot of excitement there, and that the TV news programmes picked this up.

Bandai Namco has now added two additional tracks to Taiko: Drum Master Extra Large Serving (Taiko no Tatsujin) for Wii U.

Available as free DLC players can now download two new songs from Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games; “Challenge Medley” and “Love X Love Whistle” by Polyphonic Branch featuring Hatsune Miku and Kagamine Rin.
