Today marks the launch of Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and I think we are all in for a “smashing” good time.

In honor of this Nintendo has updated its website to include three new secret characters, Spoiler Alert!

Burlington, NC – October 3, 2014 – Actos Games, LLC., creator of their new Wii U exclusive title, psyscrolr, (pronounced “Sai-Scroller”) have released a new video series premiering every Friday called SageScrolr. The video series will help players understand the new ways the GamePad will be utilized in the upcoming anticipated platformer.

“psyscrolr has many new features, and we can’t wait to get them all in the hands of our players,” Jonathan Meyer, CEO of Actos Games, LLC. remarked. “Our innovative way that we use the GamePad to help players interact with the game is something we hope future indie platformers will look at and possibly follow in psyscrolr’s footsteps.”

Recently we reported that Dutch-based Engine Software would collaborate with Norwegian developer Monkeybin to release their social board game, Mindfeud for the 3DS.

Now, Engine Software has announced they will be releasing the game during the month of November (actual date will very by territory) this year and the price will be set at $4.99.

It’s that time again for the latest Bayonetta 2 developer blog, this time focusing in on co-operative play in the game. As always, we’ve included an excerpt and the full article can be found below

It goes without saying that there are co-op battles in the new Tag Climax co-op mode. However, there are also scenes in the story mode where you fight alongside A.I. controlled characters. These make for some really exciting battles, and are one of the cool new features Bayonetta 2 brings to the table. You can do crazy torture attacks together, and see some cool teamwork. Definitely keep an eye out for these scenes when you play the game.

Of course, actually getting this feature into the game was a serious challenge. A great example is Loki, a key character in the story of Bayonetta 2. You fight together with him in many battles throughout the game.
