Update: Bumped to the top. It now looks like The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth’s European release will be taking place in October.
EU players, according to NOE there's not enough time from last week (when we asked) to Sept 10th to push Isaac live. Looks like Oct. now

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth could be launching in Europe as soon as next week. On Twitter, Nicalis’ Tyrone Rodriguez said that the game has been submitted with a September 10 release date. That date will stick so long as Nintendo approves it.
Rodriguez’s tweet is as follows:
Submitted September 10th as the desired EU release date to NOE. Waiting for approval from NOE on the date

Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News, Wii U eShop | 20 Comments
Update 2 (9/1): Bumped to the top. Amazon has now launched its Nintendo Digital Downloads page here.
Update: This actually looks more extensive than I originally thought. You can purchase digital codes for a good chunk of Wii U and 3DS games that have hit retail thus far (thanks astrogamer). For example, consumers can buy a code for Smash Bros. Wii U right now. You’ll find a decent amount of codes listed for Wii U here, and codes for 3DS here.
Starting tomorrow, Amazon will begin selling digital content for both Wii U and 3DS. This includes games available on the eShop, Virtual Console releases, and DLC.
Here’s the lineup thus far:
Wii U
Golden Sun
Hyrule Warriors: The Hero of Hyrule Pack
Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land
The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
Mario Kart 8 Bundle Pack
Pushmo World
Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3
3DS
Kirby Fighters Deluxe
The Legend of Zelda
Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream
Super Mario Bros. 3
It’s a bit of a limited selection, but it’s certainly a nice start. I’ll be curious to see if additional content is added in over time.

Pokemon Shuffle news: iOS & Android version out in the West, new events and levels in the 3DS version
Posted on 9 years ago by Matt(@OnePunchMaz) in 3DS eShop, Mobile, News | 10 Comments
The iOS and Android version of Pokemon Shuffle came out last week in Japan. Today, it’s finally been released in the West as well. It’s free to play, so why not give it a shot?
The 3DS version of the game, meanwhile, is still getting a constant stream of updates. Today, a couple of new stages were added to the game.
First of all, you can face off against the Legendary Pokemon Lugia in a Special stage. This is a timed challenge, giving you only 30 seconds to complete it. This stage will be available until September 14.
Another timed stage has you facing off against Carnivine, giving you one minute to beat it. This stage will be available until September 12th. Like the Wobbuffet stage, this one allows you to use items free of charge.
Finally, a rerun of the Pokemon Safari stages where you can catch Spinda, Cherubi, Cherrim, Carvanha and Sharpedo started today. It will last until September 14th.
Sharpedo will likely be the players’ primary target since next Monday, a new Mega Stone challenge will appear in the game which lets you earn Sharpedo’s Mega Stone.

Zoink on bringing Zombie Vikings to Wii U, could release games on New 3DS
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, New Nintendo 3DS, News, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
Zoink has discussed the decision to bring Zombie Vikings to Wii U – and hinted at possible New 3DS port.
In a recent interview, founder Klaus Lyngeled said that interest from Nintendo fans as a big reason why the studio will be releasing its new game on the eShop. He additionally mentioned interest in releasing Zombie Vikings on New 3DS along with Stick it to the Man.
Lyngeled’s comments in full:
“Every time we’re out on the social media, and we mention Nintendo, there’s a huge following and they’re so devoted. I feel like we have to do a Nintendo console too, they’re supporting the game community and care about gameplay. With this game, since we’re doing hardcore gameplay, I want to make sure these guys try it and see if they like it since they know their s**t. That’s why I’m releasing it on Wii U, but I’d like to release it on the 3DS as well, but unfortunately our engine doesn’t support the 3DS yet. Now that the New 3DS supports Unity, we might be able to do something in the future, we’ve talked about Stick It To The Man for the New 3DS which I’d love to do. We’d love to release it this year in December, and we want to focus on playing it on the normal Wii Remote so four people can play it simultaneously. I’m not sure we’re going to support the GamePad because it may not make sense, it’s more important to play it with four players.”
