Polygon has posted additional footage from Shovel Knight’s free expansion known as “Plague of Shadows”. You can watch the new video below.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars has received a small update, bumping the game up to version 1.0.1. As expected, the patch is pretty small in nature. The update only addresses an issue uploading particular levels to Miiverse on 3DS.

At PAX Prime 2015, Inti Creates said that Azure Striker Gunvolt would be getting a Japanese Voice Mode. This will be added to the 3DS game via an update at some point in the future.

On its official website, Inti Creates has shared more details about the mode. Here’s the lowdown straight from the studio:

* The entire script of the game has been re-translated to fit with the original Japanese voices. This means that the script is how it would be in the Japanese version, but translated into English. Japanese references to things like takoyaki and tokusatsu shows, just to name a few, are kept as-is.

* All of the dialogue from the Japanese version is intact in this mode, from the mid-stage conversations to all of your chats with Joule.

* Despite the fact that the presence of mid-stage conversations with English text are one of the main reasons for having this mode, you can still disable/enable these at any time with the push of a button.

* To play the game in Japanese Voice Mode, select it from the Language Settings menu before starting the game.

Several new titles are coming to the Japanese eShop on September 9. Here’s a look at the upcoming digital downloads:

Update: Bumped to the top. It now looks like The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth’s European release will be taking place in October.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth could be launching in Europe as soon as next week. On Twitter, Nicalis’ Tyrone Rodriguez said that the game has been submitted with a September 10 release date. That date will stick so long as Nintendo approves it.

Rodriguez’s tweet is as follows:

Quite a few of you have been asking about The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth in Europe, and thankfully its release isn’t too far away. If anything changes, we’ll let you know.

Update 2 (9/1): Bumped to the top. Amazon has now launched its Nintendo Digital Downloads page here.

Update: This actually looks more extensive than I originally thought. You can purchase digital codes for a good chunk of Wii U and 3DS games that have hit retail thus far (thanks astrogamer). For example, consumers can buy a code for Smash Bros. Wii U right now. You’ll find a decent amount of codes listed for Wii U here, and codes for 3DS here.

Starting tomorrow, Amazon will begin selling digital content for both Wii U and 3DS. This includes games available on the eShop, Virtual Console releases, and DLC.

Here’s the lineup thus far:

Wii U

Golden Sun
Hyrule Warriors: The Hero of Hyrule Pack
Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land
The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
Mario Kart 8 Bundle Pack
Pushmo World
Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3

3DS

Kirby Fighters Deluxe
The Legend of Zelda
Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream
Super Mario Bros. 3

It’s a bit of a limited selection, but it’s certainly a nice start. I’ll be curious to see if additional content is added in over time.
