Treasurenauts was announced over two years ago, yet the 3DS eShop game still has yet to be released. Those who are interested in the title can at least rest easy knowing that Renegade Kid will soon be shifting its full effort to the project. According to co-founder Jools Watsham, the team will be focusing entirely on Treasurenauts once Mutant Mudds Super Challenge is completed.
Watsham wrote on Twitter a couple of minutes ago:
.@GHamsacker We will be focusing on Treasurenauts development immediately after MMSC is completed. 🙂

Reggie teases regular New 3DS for North America, confirms exclusive digital games
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, New Nintendo 3DS, News | 31 Comments
North America is currently the only major region where the standard, smaller New 3DS model hasn’t been released. Perhaps this will change at some point in the future, however.
Speaking with Kotaku, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime teased the regular New 3DS for North America, and explained why it didn’t originally launch in the territory.
He said:
“So we’ve got nothing to announce here. We’ve certainly taken note of all of the readers and consumers that expressed desire for the base model.”
“We analyzed the results in Japan and saw the lion’s share of the volume was on the XL model, and that’s with no 2DS existing in the Japanese market. And so as we thought about what’s the best line-up for us we thought the new XL and 2DS would be our best line-up. Not going to make any promises but, you know, I would suggest to your readers that they stay tuned and maybe some special SKUs might show up.”
Reggie also commented on games that can only be played on New 3DS systems. He reveals that there are digital games in the works that are exclusive to the portable.

3D Gunstar Heroes features Full Spec and Mega Life modes

SEGA has included a couple of new modes in 3D Gunstar Heroes. There’s Full Spec mode, which provides players with any of the game’s fourteen weapons. 3D Gunstar Heroes also has the Mega Life mode that doubles the amount of lives players would usually have.
Aside from the new modes, 3D Gunstar Heroes contains elements from other SEGA 3D Classics. That means local multiplayer, the ability to choose between the Japanese or American version of the game, a tube TV filter that can be toggled on or off, and stereoscopic 3D.

The Pokémon Safari event stage is now back on Pokémon Shuffle
Posted on 8 years ago by Dennis Gagliardotto(@LyonHart_) in 3DS eShop, News | 0 comments
Two months ago Pokémon Shuffle introduced a brand new event called the Pokémon Safari. This special event would grant you random Pokémon with each attempt, granting you access to some Pokémon you may have not previously encountered. Now, the Pokémon Safari returns with all new Pokémon for you to catch.
This new Pokémon Safari event will run from June 22nd to July 6th, and will give you a chance at catching up to five Pokémon: Electrike, Manectric, Darumaka, Darmanitan, and Stantler.
As usual with these new additions to the game, you will have to update your game to gain access to this event. Simply hit the Check In button and you’re good to go!
