Update 2 (4/18): I’m not sure what happened, but Nintendo is no longer planning shop maintenance. However, we do have the following game maintenance to add:

Nintendo’s digital shops will be down for a few hours on Monday, April 20 while maintenance takes place. This will be happening between 4 PM ET and 8 PM ET (1 PM PT and 5 PM PT). The maintenance period will affect the Wii U and 3DS eShops, Wii Shopping Channel, and DSi Shop.

Big Hero 6 is the latest downloadable movie for 3DS systems in Japan. The film, which costs 3,240 yen, just came out today. Of course, 3D is supported!

Big John Games released a new trailer for Cube Creator 3D. Watch it below.

Cube Creator 3D launches on the North American 3DS eShop next Thursday.

Update (4/16): We now have complete confirmation of the release date:

Cube Creator 3D is coming to the North American 3DS eShop later this month. On Twitter, developer Big John Games confirmed a release date of April 23.

The studio’s tweet is as follows:

Cube Creator 3D should head to Europe at some point in the future. There’s no set date at the moment, however.
