The folks over at Gematsu have put up a translation from the latest Famitsu on Kenka Bancho 6 which will be hitting Japan in January 2015. There are a tonne of new details to check out, we’ve included an excerpt below but be sure to go check out the full thing:

New Characters

Koichiro Takashi (voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama) – A first year, he speaks in a strange way that mixes Hiroshima’s local dialect with the sort of lines you’d expect out of a historical play. Able to hold his own in a fight, he can lift people up in the air with a single hand. Upon entering school and seeing its rampant chaos, he knew he had to do something. Often fighting alone to help maintain the peace, he’s a misunderstood soul by many.

With the release of Final Fantasy Explorers fast approaching in Japan, Square Enix have released details on the demo version of the game which will allow players to experience the game’s opening hours. What’s of note however is that in addition to supporting local wireless play, online multiplayer will also be available in the demo (presumably because of the game’s emphasis on group play). Final Fantasy Explorers is due out in Japan on December 18th

Square Enix are hosting another live stream this Friday continuing their beginners guide of Final Fantasy Explorers as well as revealing some new information about Bravely Second. The times are as follows:

Europe: 12PM
UK: 11AM
USA (East Coast): 6AM
USA (West Coast): 3AM
Japan: 8PM

A special offer was announced for Japanese Club Nintendo members during today’s Nintendo Direct. Those who register Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire will receive Game & Watch Gallery 3 on the 3DS Virtual Console. This is particularly notable since there haven’t been any new 3DS VC titles in Japan in several months!
