In Japan, Square Enix has released four more downloadable tracks and one new character for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call.

Peter Warman, CEO of video game research firm Newzoo, shared an overview of Sonic’s lifetime sales in different territories with Fortune.

The Blue Blur is most popular in the United States, which is where about half of the total sales have originated from. Europe makes up another 35 percent, with the remaining 15 percent of sales stemming from other countries like Japan.

As stated by Warman:

On 3DS, Dragon Quest X uses streaming technology to run the game. It turns out that this version is built with Ubitus GameCloud middleware similar to the Android version from NTT DoCoMo.

Ubitus CEO Ubitus Wesley Kuo said of the news:

“Ubitus is thrilled to bring the national flagship title from Square Enix to Nintendo’s bestselling Nintendo 3DS portable gaming console through our GameCloud technology. According to this week’s issue of Jump, it’s none other than the Thousand Blade Dragon Selregios. The magazine says that Selregios is a tough winged monster with strong legs, who has golden scales extending from its back and a single long horn protruding from its forehead.

Nintendo has announced the games coming to the Japanese 3DS Recommended Software campaign in September. Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, Mario Kart 7, Tomodachi Life, Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Mankind, and Dragon Quest X will be available. New 3DS XL buyers in Japan will be able to choose one of these titles for free.
