Monster Hunter XX was featured on the new episode of Capcom TV which aired earlier today. Gameplay was shown per usual, but a few extra goodies were included: notably the second trailer and latest collaborations.

The fun begins with the recording below:

Monster Hunter XX’s new collaborations include the Drifters manga and anime (for a katana), Show by Rock rhythm game, and Gudetama.

USGamer caught up with Nick Wozniak from Yacht Club Games and managed to obtain some additional details about Specter of Tournament, the next expansion for Shovel Knight. We’ve rounded up the important tidbits below, though the full article is located here.

– Free to everyone who owns Shovel Knight
– being pushed as “standalone” so casual observers understand that it’s more than a simple reskin with a new character
– May also make Specter of Torment a true standalone release, though they wouldn’t elaborate on what form they would take
– Set before the original Shovel Knight
– Follows Specter Knight as he recruits the Order of No Quarter
– Specter Knight can wall climb and dash slash
– Yacht Club is remixing his levels
– New screens as well as new art
– You might recognize “one or two screens if you really know the old game,” but otherwise it will very different
– Players can choose any level they want
– All boss battles have been redone
– Harder/easier stages like that of Mega Man

This week’s Famitsu scans are now available. Highlighted games include Monster Hunter XX, Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball Heroes, Miitopia, and Yo-kai Watch 3: Sukiyaki. Scans of all titles can be found below.

Much like the rest of the world, Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon have set a new record in Australia. The two games are now the fastest-selling Nintendo games in the continent. Sales of Pokemon Sun/Moon are at 240,000 copies in under two weeks.

Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire were the previous record holders for Nintendo. With Sun/Moon though, there’s been a 67 percent bump.

Nintendo announced Goodbye! BoxBoy! yesterday, and opened a teaser site here. If you watch the little animation for just a short while, you’ll notice that Kirby appears. What’s up with that?

Kirby and BoxBoy! are made by the same developer. Is this just HAL Laboratory having some fun, or will Kirby be showing up in some fashion?

Thanks to Jake for the tip.

Update: We’ve also added gameplay videos after the break.

Original: Level-5 uploaded a couple of new stop-motion commercials for Yo-kai Watch 3. Find them below, along with a making-of video.
