Capcom TGS 2022 lineup

Tokyo Game Show 2022 is just a month away, and Capcom has now provided its initial lineup for the show. For Switch owners, the highlights will be Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection and Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Exoprimal
and Street Fighter 6 will be playable as well.

Capcom isn’t planning any stage shows, but it will have different online presentations. The one we’ll highlight begins at 11 PM Japan time on September 15, which will cover various news from the company.

To celebrate the Pokemon Masters Tournament in the anime, Ash’s current team is being distributed via event code for Pokemon Sword and Shield in Japan. Despite it being targeted in this region, it seems players worldwide can take advantage.

The creature comes in at level 80 and has the moves Fishious Rend, Dragon Rush, Ice Fang, and Water Gun. Also, the ability Strong Jaw is included that boosts the strength of Fishious Rend.

Developer MoonGlass have announced that Mixolumia will be coming to Switch via the eShop on August 25. A music arcade puzzle game, Mixolumia will offer a variety of gameplay modes to fit the player’s mood and skills, and will include additional features on the Switch, including a palette mode that will enable you to play the game with your preferred colours.

Little Noah Scion of Paradise DLC update 1.01

Cygames has released the first major DLC for Little Noah: Scion of Paradise (known as the Avatar, Lilliput, and Accessory Pack) as well as a free update for the game.

Splatoon 3 commercials JP

Nintendo has sent out a handful of Japanese commercials for Splatoon 3. There are six adverts in total, and most of them focus on the game’s weapons.

Arcade Paradise trailer

To celebrate the game’s release, Wired Productions and Nosebleed Interactive have shared a launch trailer for Arcade Paradise. The video provides a final look at the 90’s retro arcade adventure game.

The 2022 Pokemon World Championships are taking place next week, and Niantic has a special event planned for Pokemon GO in celebration. It will include the debut of World Championships 2022 Pikachu.

switch no price increase

According to Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa, the company has no plans to increase the price of the Switch.

Furukawa shared that information in an interview with Nikkei. He said that Switch demand is currently outpacing supply, but that doesn’t mean Nintendo will up the price. The company wants to “avoid pricing people out” and “maintain the momentum of our overall business.”

Furukawa’s comments came about while talking about Switch hardware production as well as sales targets. You can read the brief interview below. 

Picross S8

Jupiter is developing Picross S8 and the game will be released this fall, the company has announced. While not stated explicitly, it’s safe to assume that it will be appearing on Switch like all previous entries in the series.

Picross S came to Switch in September 2017. Since then we’ve seen six additional titles. Jupiter has even created Picross Lord of the Nazarick, Kemon’s Friends Picross, and Picross S Genesis & Master System Edition.

As for Picross S8, more information will be shared in the future. We should have a release date closer to launch.

Cult of the Lamb trailer

Cult of the Lamb is out on Switch today, and we have a trailer to celebrate. Rather than going for gameplay, the video is animated but still gives an idea of what to expect from the title.
